Book: Oracle's Moon (Elder Races #4) by Thea Harrison
Read: 18-May-2014
Rating: ★★★★★
Review:
Wow, this was my absolute favorite book from the series after Dragon Bound. The book was a quick, entertaining read and I finished it in a couple of hours. The next book is about Pia and Dragos again and I hope we finally get to meet their child.

I know a lot of people weren't happy with the way this series ended. I personally loved it! I was captivated once I got into the bulk of the story and it got under my skin. I really wish there were more books because it did leave a lot of potential left for more stories to come. I think Dorian has made my book boyfriend list, and I'm quite sad to see this finished.

This is the 4th book in the Chesapeake Diaries. Brooke our heroine was widowed when her husband was killed in Iraq. she has since found no one to interest her. She has discover she is a quiet a baker and her friends suggest her selling cupcakes since there isnt' a good bakery in town. she is also getting a bs in business soon to be finished. Her and her 8 yr old son Logan have come home to St. Dennis to be with family. She then meets Jessie Enright who thinks she might be the woman for him, but he knows that she never goes out on more than one date with any man, so he needs to wait for her to ask him out. Jesse has returned to town to take over his grand- father's law office cause his dad is a screw up. Will he be able to prove to his family, and the hometown girl, that he's not his father and he is worthy?

This book was an okay romance. I really like Hanna. I love that she was a smart heroine that did not let the hot guy totally run over her. Smut was good to : ) I would probably read another one of this series.

I'm a totally sucker for the MacRieve clan! Throw in a Valkyrie my other favorite supe in this series and it's solid gold! The time spent on the Amazon on this one was very interesting too. This one definitely ended with unfinished business and I'm dying to see how it all goes down!

Book: Romancing Mister Bridgerton (Bridgertons #4) by Julia Quinn
Read: 23-May-2014
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
This was a fourth book in what's quickly becoming my favorite historical series. The book starts several years after the last one and we see how Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton get their HEA.
We finally learn the identity of Lady Whistledown and I can't say I was surprised as the last paragraph in An Offer From a Gentleman confirmed my suspicions about her.

book: The Mysterious Death of Miss Jane Austen by Lindsay Ashford
set in England
read may 24 -2014
rating 4 stars
review:
A good book. It is about the death of Jane Austen seen by a good friend. It was a fast pace book set in almost diary form. It made me want to know more about Jane Austen. I would definitely read more of this author.

I lvoe Quick's historical remances set in England. Amity Doncaster is a world traveler who encounters a dying man in an alley. He begs her to take an envelope with her back to England. Her dad was a doctor and taught much on how to help people. She helps him back to the ship. The time the two spend together on the ship lead the two to have feelings for each other.

We can read a 5th, standalone or author who's name starts with J.

Loved the fae aspect of this one! It was missing some of the Harry wit though. I think I preferred Grave Peril but this was still very good. Spoiler from book 3 (view spoiler) spoiler for this book (view spoiler) Can't wait to see what book 5 brings!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Roberts, Rogin Everybody's Got Something
I have always enjoyed Robin Roberts reporting on GMA and thought to read her new autobiography.

This is a story about cancer someone getting it twic, first came breast caner then she needed a bone marrow trasplant. She was lucky, her oldest sister was a 10 point match. She was out of work 6 months. This was caused by the treatment she got for the breast cancer. Don't read it if you know anyone with cancer, I would rather die then go through it.

Book: To Sir Phillip, With Love (Bridgertons #5) by Julia Quinn

Review:
I guess this was one HR book too many in so short time. It was readable and quite nice but I didn't like it as much as I liked the previous books. Eloise was quite likeable but I didn't like Phillip nearly as much as the previous heroes in the series.

Book: Rule's Obsession by Lynda Chance
Read: 31-May-2014
Rating: ★★
Review:
I really liked other books I've read from the author so I had quite high expectations for this one and I was sadly disappointed. There wasn't much in the book but sex and that got boring pretty soon. The preview into the next book looks interesting enough so I'll give the series another try when it comes out.

book: Tall, Dark & Hungry by Lynsay Sands

I really liked this book very funny. I love the two main character and all the supporting characters. I enjoy lynsay sands writing and will read other books of hers. The only problem in the book is their is a little bit of insta love. But if one can overlook that I would read this series .

I'm so disappointed! I wish I'd of just left this alone after Aisling's books. The only highlights where the little snippets of Jim. I did a whispersync on this and the narrator was horrible. I adored Aisling's books, if you did too, then don't read this because it will leave a bad taste in your mouth!

If I accidentally pass out before midnight whoever gets here first roll.
