First in a series, and the concept was great and it had great reviews from my friends but I couldn't really get into the story because I was so annoyed with the heroine the whole time and most of the time the hero. I thought the concept was great but the constant bickering and fights really did not bring on the romance. By the time, both learned to compromise in their marriage, it was too little too late.

This was an enjoyable read. It was good to see Mercy getting her feet back under her after what had happened in the previous book. I also loved seeing her relationship with Adam advance. There were several twists and turns and of course, plenty of action. This series just improves as the characters become more layered and known to the reader. What a delight.

This one is a re-read for me, because I originally read it out of order and now that I started the series from the beginning, I am reading this one in order again. In book 6, we see the old characters from the beginning of the series who started Ranger Security. Will Forrester recently left the military and has joined Ranger security and his first assignment is to find a missing 76 year old man who has gone missing. In his search, he comes across Rhiannon who forces herself on him to help him find the missing person. There are some funny scenes and its a harlequin blaze to it has some pretty steamy scenes. Overall a good read.

I’ve had Isle of Night on my TBR for longer than I can remember. I even picked up a physical copy. I honestly didn’t love the book. I had a hard time connecting with Annelise she’s one of those characters that frustrated me right from the start even though she’s genius smart. That being said I think the author created a unique spin on the vampire concept. Overall the story is well written it flows smoothly from start to finish. I just struggled to get into the story. It just wasn’t my kind of vampire story, but others may enjoy it more. If not for a challenge I don't think i would have finished the book but maybe down the road I will give it another chance.

I think I have a Love/Hate attitude about this series.
There are some part that are pretty good and then other parts that drag on,on, and on.
It took forever to find out about the curse. :(
I liked that Daniel's group of Angels were in the book and enjoyed the historical references. But Lucinda is very annoying at times. :( I plan on reading the last book of this series but I'm in no hurry to do so. :(

It was really nice being on our team with you all! :D Hina, Mandy, and Diane T., we did some great reading this go-around! See you'll around, hopefully on another team. Bye for now! Diana S.

I was waiting to start with the hopes that you would roll a 69 or 79.

Please let me know what you think of it. I've been hearing a lot of negative reviews. So, I've been debating buying it or just waiting.

Milagro got her hands full this time with all these so-called accidents interfering with her wedding plans or are they accidents. Is someone trying to stop Milagro from marrying Oswald.
As usual, Milagro gets herself in all kinds of messes. She's like a magnet for trouble. What a fun read with a latina flare :)

I'm afraid that maybe I just had to high of expectations for the book. I've waited since the last book over 5 years for this book and it was just meh. The whole book is Merry feelings, and dealing with being a mom. Everything that happened was in the last 10%. It was slow I found myself being distracted because I needed action and it wasn't there. I was sad and upset by the ending. I honestly don't think I will continue the series. It's sadly like her Anita Blake series just gone to far over.
That being said everyone is different and just because I didn't enjoy it doesn't mean you won't love it. I've seen lots of mixed reviews.
I'm still grrrrr I want to slam stuff.... It made me feel.

Loved this story. Beauty and Shadow were a wonderful couple. I liked how Beauty grew tired of the kid glove treatment she received because she was a "Gift" female. Finding her way, discovering her own power and that she could stand up to others, whether it was bad guys or well-meaning friends, made her shine. Shadow's character was just as interesting with his wounded past and his own fears to conquer. When they came together nothing could stop them. The type of romance to make romantics hum with contentment.

The precis sounded interesting, Clay and Annabelle wanted to stop their parents from marrying each other and stop them from making a mistake. In trying to convince their respective parent that it is not a good idea, Clay and Annabelle started to fall for each other. The reason the book was just okay was because there wasn't much of romance and/or comedy to get through the book. There were some good moments but overall its a sweet romance lacking on the romance part. It could definitely have been better with the plot line given, but its my first read from Stephanie Bond, so hopefully I will come across something even better.

I'm sorry I never posted here to say I was taking some time off, but I was kinda pressed for time, as I was studying for an important exam.
Now that's over, and I'm ready to dive into some great reads. :)

Intriguing tale, the first in the Krewe of Hunters series. I enjoyed watching the team come together and meld into a unit. The basic question, was the guilty party human or a ghost, was not unusual. However, Heather Graham straddled a fine line and did it with a master's touch. The team made their own beliefs in ghost apparent but kept an open mind as to whether it was a ghost in this case. I really like the character of Angela and seeing her come into her own. I found Jackson fascinating. I hope to read more of this team in the other books of the series.
