The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie question

I would recommend reading them in order. I love this series!

The stories keep getting better and better, just as Flavia just keeps getting better and better! the sixth book is by far the best, most satisfying.

I agree-while each one works on it's own-details are revealed-relationships mature-it helps to read in order

I am up to the fourth book about Flavia and Family. I really enjoy them but I do recommend just as the others have that you try to read them in order because sometimes a past incident is mentioned and it helps to know what they are talking about. They are very good!

I also listen to them on the Audio version and find the voice that Narrator uses is so much fun to imagine coming out of this little brilliant person is really very enjoyable! I borrow from my Library. I am very thankful for their great audio selections too!

@pat I also listen to this series on audio book and love it. Love my library! I am currently listening to book # 6.

I agree, they should be read in order because the other weaves past stories into the current story so it's fun to remember that part. Of course if you do not read them in order it will still be a very good read but you will miss some of the character development as well.
