"No." She whispered. She looked at him. "Do you really like me?" She asked.

"I really do," daemon said, reaching for her hand, wrapping his finger around hers.
"You sure? Cause the things people are saying." She whispered.
"What do you mean? WhT are they saying?" He asks in a soothing voice.
"That you lost your girlfriend and that they are surprise that you moved on so soon." She said.
"I-I did lose my girlfriend... And I have moved on fast, but I guess you could say I'm used to losing people close to me..."
She looked at him. She thought for a few moments."I just don't want you moving on to me because you don't want to remember her." She whispered.
"That's really not the reason. I see her in you sometimes," daemon smiled sadly.
"So what I'm hearing is I remind you as your dead girlfriend."
"I didn't mean it like that. It's just I was drawn to that initially, before I knew you. I like for completely different reasons now," he said.
She looked at him. "They think your desperate to forget her. They also say I moved into her house." She said.
"I wouldn't say desperate... And yeah, this was her house, that part is true."
"What would you call it?"
"Trying to get your dead girlfriend back?"
"No!" Daemon defended himself. He ran a hand through his hair. "My logic is kind of screwed up, but I'm not trying to replace anybody...."
"I don't think that's all so true." She said. "Do I remind you of her?"
"With some of the things you do, slightly, but not as much as you would think..."
She bit her lip. She didn't want to fall for someone then them move on so fast. She would want them to be happy yeah but not this. Trying to find girls that reminded him of her. She looked at him. "I'm sorry. I like you a lot but I don't want to remind you of someone."
"I—," he started to say but realized that nothing he could say would make the situation any better. "If that's your choice then..."
"I want to know what you think." She said looking at him. She couldn't like him not after that and what he said. She felt her face flush. She was nervous. She liked him a lot. "Anything to say or do?"
"What do you mean?" He asks, tilting his head slightly to the side.
She looked at him. "Out. I thought you were different. Now I find out the reason you like me was because I remind you of a dead person."
Daemon didn't say anything, but walked out the door, glumly, not looking back this time.
She was hurt. She went to her room and cried herself to sleep.
Daemon walked up to his room, and laid down on his bed, staring at the Cieling.
((K))The next day daemon didn't talk to anyone unless they talked to him first. Even then he would answer with only a couple words.
She walked in there head done. She didn't say anything to anyone. She sat in her seat in front of Daemon. She liked him. Their teacher assigned projects. She waited for her name to be called and her partners. Her name was called then Daemons. She sighed.
'Well this is going to be fun...' He thought to himself.
She turned around at him. She didn't say anything.
Daemon looked away, not sure how to act. Should he act like nothing happened? Or the way he had before their talk yesterday?
She bit her lip. She wrote a note. 'What do you want to do for the project' she lay it on his deck.
He wrote back. 'I don't really know... We could do something about ...' ((Idk what kind of project like science?))
((I don't doesn't matter what kind to me))
((I'll just go with science))Daemon added more. 'Maybe something about the circulatory system? It is biology after all'
((Ok))She snuggled her shoulders.
Daemon poked her in the back with the pen. "So how do you want to start this?"
She shrugged her shoulders again.
Daemon sighs. "You're not going to make this easy, are you?"
She looked at him. She showed hurt in her eyes.
"I'm sorry for what I said yesterday.. And now.."
She didn't say anything.
Daemon sighed again and began working
She didn't know what to do. She just looked anywhere but at him.
He began taking notes in his notebook over what the teacher had been saying at the beginning of class.
She sighed and waited for the bell to rang.
Daemon and Abbie went the rest of the class without talking.
She went quickly out of the class when the bell rang.
"Looks like a scared her off of something," he mumbled quietly to himself.
