"Sleep," he said softly. He picked her up again and this time, he carried her inside. He laid next to Abbie after he tucked her into his own bed. She moved around a lot, causing her to be physically right next to daemon the whole time. Sometimes, she would even rest her arm over his side as if he was a stuffed animal

She drifted off into sleep. She slept awhile. She woke up feeling better smiling at him. "I remember and I feel better."
"That's good!" Daemon replied, smiling. She had shifted around so much that night that his arm had somehow became a functioning pillow. She alternated between his chest and his arm, which Daemon thought was adorable, whether she knew she was doing it or not.
She snuggled into daemon. She smiled at bit in her sleep.she was sleeping really well. In the morning she woke up laying on a chest. She didn't move because she was comfortable. She wasn't warm or had a fever anymore. She was glad that she remember to.
Daemon smiled as she snuggled again at him. He wrapped his arms, hooked his hands behind her knees, and brought her closer.
"Good morning." She whispered with a smile.
"Morning sunshine, how did you sleep?" He asked, knowing it would be a 'wow, I slept great!' kind of answer.
She blushed at the nickname. "I slept nice." She whispered.
"I figured. You were out!" Daemon chuckled, remembering some of the positions she slept in.
"My head hurts still." She whispered. "I had this really weird dream to. I went like to this lake and it's fall and I went in there I couldn't get cool down." She whispered.Dee walked in. "Daemon you didn't do what I think you did?"
"You had a dream about that? It actually hap—" he was cut off when the door opened. "No!" Daemon said, shocked his sister wouldn't try to be secretive about something like that.
"Not that the other thing." She said. "Did you heal her?" She asked.Abbie was one of those times when everything was fuzzy and blurry. She was really dizzy again. She passed out again.
"Y-yeah...." He said, looking anywhere but at Dee
Dee looked at him. "Didn't you learn from anything like last time." She said. "This isn't good at all. Has she had any of the symptoms like Katy had." She said remembering how she got turned into a hybrid.
"Well I couldn't just leave her...." He said, looking at Abbie. "The general sickness I guess. She is probably turning
"Not good at all." She got the the temperature gage and put in her mouth. "Yep she's turning her temperature doesn't read on this one." She gets another one that's electronic. She ran it across her forehead. Her mouth drop. "That's way too high we should take her to the the hospital. It's 200." She said.
"If we do, what would the doctors say, Dee?!" Daemon hissed. "They would think she is dead! I'm not going to risk her exposure!"
"Ok." She said."We need to get that fever down." She said. She nodded her head.
"We would have to go to the DOD..... To get that one syrum..."
"Which serum." She asked. "No it's too dangerous to do that." She said.
"It's how Katy was saved though.. Although the way he went about it was totally wrong, it saved her from the chances of her being destroyed by the light DNA."
"Yeah but it's too dangerous." She said looking at him. "She'll be fine for now"
"We'll see how everything goes..." He said, extremely worried.
"Are you as scared as I am?" He asked, not trying to hide his feelings
She didn't answer. She walked away.
"I'll take that as a no.." He turned back to Abbie. "Guess I'll wait til she wakes up."
She opened her eyes. "It's so hot again Daemon." She whispered.
"I'm doing the best I can, i promise Abbie. I'll fix this, I swear." He held onto her hand, her palm sweaty.
She nodded her head. "What's wrong with me?"
"Can I tell you a story?" Daemon asked. "It's long, so I want to know if you will be able to stay awake."
She nodded her head. "I'm might be able to be awake but I can't focus that well."
"It's okay, just do your best," he said and began telling the story. He as actually telling what happened before Abbie came. He used the same names, and told it from his point of view. He finished telling the story. "And what would you do if I told you that this was all a true story. That it actually happened?"
She looked at him. "Daemon I don't know I heard bits and pieces of it." She whispered.
"It's real," he answered, eyes seeming to glow.
She nodded her head. "Ok." She whispered.
"I only hear bits of your story." She whispered. "Other parts were all fuzzy and blurry."
"Yeah." She whispered closing her eyes again.
"I'm so sorry, Abbie, I really am. I never meant for this to happen. I wanted to meet you of course, but not leave a Trace...." He admitted.
"It's ok." She said. "It's fine." She slowly passed out again.
"It's not...." He said, he ran his hand through his hair. He reached down under his bed and pulled out the serum after locking the door. He found the major vein in Abbie's neck and prayed this would work. "I'm so sorry..." He said before injecting the needle.
Dee came in. She walked in. "The DNA should be fine. She shouldn't die. The transformation she be almost done." She said. "I know you can't lose her like Katy." She whispered. "I promise will protect her at all costs." She flinched a bit at the needle.
"Thank you..." He whispered and looked back to Abbie. He bit his lip when he saw her flinch. "I'm so sorry," he mumbled over and over. He picked her up and set her in his lap. Leaning agains the headboard, he rocked back and forth, holding her close.
She smiled at him. "She'll be fine." She said. "She will need to train." She said leaving out of the room. She opened shifted again. Her eyes began to flutter.
"Oh my g-d Abbie you're awake!" He whispered and hugged her tightly to his chest. "I was so worried you wouldn't!" He added, relieved. "Are you okay? How do you feel? Do you need anything?" He bombarded her with questions.
She opened her eyes. "Daemon I feel better." She whispered. She looked up with him with big eyes and smiled.
" you scared me so bad, you know that?" He buried his face into her hair, not ever wanting to let her go. Eventually he did, but she still stayed in his lap.
