<< Oh, I'll check him or her out. And sure >>
He shrugged, "There aren't a ton of unpartnered ones. Kid is open" he murmured.

"Kid? Kid who?" Said Nanami deciding to take the first step in the direction of the school.
"Kid? Kid who?" Said Nanami deciding to take the first step in the direction of the school.
"Death the Kid? He actually exists?" She said astonished. She started walking, step by step towards in the direction of the school, walking throigh the fields. "And he doesn't have a partner..." she made a face, "I'm supposed to get a partner...but...I don't know if I want one...much less...that old fart."
"I should have known that would be your answer," she muttered. Turning back to him. "I'm heading to the school, you coming?"
Nanami blinked. Damn...weirdo demon... She thought to herself for stepping into the shadows and teleporting to the school.
((Hm, where should Nanami run into Kid?))

Eri slipped out of the shadows and found herself in the fields of Zennel Town. She sat down, and sighed. Bloody was snoring in their dorm, so she figured, she'd go and do something. She was surprised though that that Reaper dude had actually wanted to be changed into a girl for life.
Eri slipped out of the shadows and found herself in the fields of Zennel Town. She sat down, and sighed. Bloody was snoring in their dorm, so she figured, she'd go and do something. She was surprised though that that Reaper dude had actually wanted to be changed into a girl for life.
Eri looked over to the guy who'd sat down in the fields too. He looked a little contemplative, or was he sad? Or none of those? She sighed, wondering if she should talk to him or not, since she didn't actually care about whatever his problem was, as her partner always said, her indifference was her downfall more often than not...

Eri jumped and drew her scythe, holding it towards Ethan, stunned. "What the hell was that?" She said.

Eri's scythe bounced away. She sighed. "Um, get your hands off me. And I've been here for at least ten minutes," she said, annoyed that he'd so easily pinned her to the ground. She struggled to breathe. Tendrils of shadow rose up behind the guy, whoever he was, ready to attack if he did more than what he was doing now.
Eri stood rubbing her neck and dustng herself off. "Sorry if I startled you, but you startled me," she said indifferently. She walked over and retrieved her scythe.
"Eresh--Eri," she said, stopping short of using her full name. She rubbed her arm which was probably bruised, but oh well. "And you?"
"You did?" Eri said, confused. She'd just stepped in. "I didn't notice," she said flatly. "If it was barred, clearly you need to have done it better."
"Well sorry, I didn't realise," said Eri rolling her eyes at his snappishness. "If you're that unstable, why didn't you just jump off the cliff and become unstable there? Better than in the middle of a field!"

Eri ignored his sarcasm, merely sighing, and said, "so I take it that your sister was recently murdered?" She asked looking around as though she'd find a body there.
"What happened to her?" She said blankly, half caring for the sake of it, and half not because she was asking for reaper reasons.

Nanami shot him an annoyed look, "you're an abnormal, weirdo, mask wearing demon who for some reason scares the living daylights out of me." She sighed. "I don't suppose you know whether most of the Reapers in that school are partnered or not?"
