1. My name is Ron Levi
2. I joined because I'm a new author, social creature, black husband, father, grandfather, adoptee, foundling, servant and generally curious person.
3. I live in San Antonio.
4. My favorite sports team changes from one decade to the next and with my residence, but if I can only pick one I'll go with the Colorado Avalanche NHL club.
5. My pet peeve is beating around the bush - cut to the chase, 'cause I'm terrible at catching hints.
6. My favorite book is Spitting Image: A Foundling's Memoir of Faith and Gratitude because it's the most personally engaging thing I've ever read (or written).
7. My favorite quote is "Some men see things as they are and say, 'Why.' I dream things that never were and say, 'Why not?'"
8. My favorite movie is The Color Purple. Gets me every time.
BTW, I'm giving away 5 free copies of my new book if you enter before Nov 30th. Enter my Goodreads Giveaway for Spitting Image.

I live in East Texas. My favorite sports team is Dallas Cowboys.
My Pet peeve, is disrespectful people, or people who do not follow up. My favorite author Kimberla Rory Lawson, because of how she makes you feel like a fly on the wall with her scenes. And Sandra Brown, her detail in writing.
Favorite quote: Don't worry about "getting it right." God will teach you as you go."
Favorite movie: An Office and a Gentleman

The reason i've joined this group is really to connect with like-minded people (authors and readers alike), particularly people from BIPOC background. My writing is about historical Africa and I wanted to engage with people on this topic. Hope that answers the question :-)
