My dystopian novel for the challenge was The Natural Way of Things by Charlotte Wood, which I would highly recommend. It's grim, but then you'd expect that of dystopian fiction, I guess. It won the Stella Prize earlier this year.

I haven't found any romances set in the future that appeal either. In fact it's rare than I read anything set in the future!

I'm also a Liane Moriarty fan... I've read 3 of hers this year so far. Big Little Lies was my New York Times bestseller. :) Can't wait to read the new one.

For "romance set in the future" - the best ones I've read have been YA dystopian series, such as Legend or Cinder or Blood Red Road. In each case, the romance isn't really the point though. I do LOVE romances, but I've never read a good "future" romance, they tend to be cheesy.
