Fantastic! Thank you.

I'm an engineer too! But i'm a telecommunications engineer, which difficulties a lot finding a nice book. I work directly with mobile networks, deployment and optimization, and i don't know any book about it...
As I also have a master degree in computing, maybe it would be easier to find a book about it. If someone knows any, please recommend!! :)

Shopgirl by Steve Martin is about a young woman who works in a high-end retail store in Beverly Hills. I loved it.

Your ideas/suggestions are welcome.

I'm the same. I think I'm either going to read The Cuckoo's Calling or Mr. Churchill's Secretary. But let me know if you find something else!

I think a folder for this category with threads for each occupation would be a perfect way to organize this topic.

Another possibility is The Devil Wears Prada.

If you like romance, I recommend Jill Shalvis Animal Magnetism (several of the books in this series involve vets or animal rescue people, although the vets are men, the rescue shelter owner is a woman), or Jennifer McQuiston (who IS a vet, and an infectious disease specialist with the CDC) Summer Is for Lovers which features a vet as the romantic hero
In mystery, Susan Conant has a great series revolving around dogs, and one of the characters is a vet (the protagonist's friend/boyfriend) - series starts with: A New Leash on Death
And I know this seems obvious, but just in case someone forgot, the classic veterinarian book: All Creatures Great and Small (it might be a good jumping-off place in GR to find vet books)
