The page limit is only for ones that you are reading for purchased properties, just FYI.

And I know how you feel about January books, my list will get much better after January, that is for sure. Remember, you can always add and subtract from you list between rolls. :)

Can I have a book that's the standard length for purchasing property? I don't think Huckleberry Finn is frozen for purchase yet.

NP, I will have Cinder and Miss Peregrine on my to do list come January so I was hoping you'd pick one on those so I could see what you thought.

Just and FYI everyone

According to the rules and the FAQs participants are not allowed to request books of a specific length for purchasing properties.

Q: What if I wanted to purchase a Property but the books chosen for me are all outside the 280-420 page range?
A: Then, unfortunately, this means that you can not purchase the property.

We discussed this scenario among the mods at length and decided that chances of this happening were slim, and that if the participant was really worried about it, they could just make sure that all of the books on your list were of the appropriate size.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

message 163: by Kim (new)

Kim DeCina (ladyindigo) | 17 comments Thank you, sorry about that - just confirming, would that mean I'd not be eligible to attempt this purchase? I'm already in the process of reading the book.

Technicall yes, but since you already are already reading it it's okay this time.

Also, Julinda's request in post 161 is still open. Could you pick for her? I can't cuz I am a librarian, but I don't want to hold her up.

Well I thought about taking the easy road and doing the fairy tales but since I landed on Don Quixote it seems appropriate to read it. So [book:Don Quixote
it is. Thanks for giving me some good choices :)

Julie Webb | 126 comments Landed on Goodnight Moon. Need another book recommend. I've switched over to mostly books I can't start until January first because of other challenges. But at least it will be in que. Be gentle lol, I started Don Quixote. Thanks

Thanks for the picks. I just ordered Gone Girl and Hanging Out from Amazon. Gone Girl was only 5.50 including shipping so I am happy to expand my library. I got the other one for .25 plus the usual 3.99 shipping but still, super happy. I'm going with Gone Girl.

The lists were linked, and now the board is too, so it should be all good. I did notice the one in this thread, but thought it was before you finalized your side. Sorry, I should have redirected the person.

No biggy, as long as it is linked now (which I did see, and thanks) others will land there eventually.

Oh good, glad to hear you enjoyed. I get a bit nervous picking sometimes, never sure what mood the person will he in. You had a lot of romances so I gave you four to choose from.

message 198: by D.G. (new)

D.G. | 1370 comments I hear you. It's so difficult to know sometimes what a person is in a mood for. I'm mostly a romance reader but I read so many genres and sometimes I'm in a mood for something different. I'm definitely in such a mood now so most likely I'll read 'Red Rising' from your picks. But you never know, LOL!
