A question about editing quotes and linking to book

I made a minor edit to this quote

and I linked it to the book.

Then, going here https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes... I saw that some quotes are linked to the English edition, others to the French edition, but all are linked to the same "work". I didn't know that was possible.

I would like to link the quote above in Italian to the Italian edition, but I can't find how (the dropdown menu only lists the most popular edition). Can you explain? Thanks

It probably means different editions were most popular at the time they were linked. There is no way to choose a specific edition.
