Hey Robin - I'm new to this group too and have similar reading tastes to yours (as in all over the board). I am already LOVING this group, so I'm sure you will to.
Thanks for the welcomes! I think I'm off to the bookstore soon to pick up the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to see if I can join in on the group read before the month is up!

Lori,THANKS, but I had to put off my trip exactly due to the weather : We've had this obnoxious, continuous rain, both here in São Paulo AND in Santos (the beach) ! Urrrrgh !

I think -- and HOPE! -- I'll finally travel on Monday... But thanks for your wishes, anyway : I'll take them with me on the trip; who knows ? They might give me some luck !!!

I'm Robin, 35, mom to three and owner of an e-commerce digital scrapbooking site. I've been a member of Good Reads for a few months now and while I suck at blogging and the like, I seem to really love keeping up to date with what books I'm reading and what my friends are reading over here too!
TNBBC looks like a great group with lots of action, group reads and discussion, and I'm looking for a group of avid readers to get chatty with, so I thought I would jump in and join you guys.
My reading tastes are sorta all over the board - just finished The Mortal Instruments trilogy (YA, paranormal fantasy - LOVED it!) and now I'm jumping into Abundance: A Novel of Marie Antoinette (historical fiction) - so I'm hoping to get great suggestions on what else to read while getting to know you guys better.
