1.Why does Alice keep telling the animals about her cat Dinah if she knows it scares them?
2. Why does Alice keep drinking and eating things when she's not really sure what they are or what they can do?
3. Does Alice have common sense?
4. Does Alice realize she's insulting the animals (mouse, caterpillar, etc)?
5. Is Alice aware that she's in a dream?

5) I don't think that Alice is aware that she's in a dream. I think she believes that she is in the "real world" and she can't find her way out.

#5 I don't think that she knows she is in a dream but I think she knows that something isn't right. She is not sure who she is and she is in a world where all cats grin. This confuses her enough to think that something is up but it is really hard to know you are dreaming while you are in a dream.
