Cindy Amrhein (historysleuth) | 7 comments I added my new 2nd edition to Goodreads. I believe I combined them correctly.
1st ed.)https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7...
2nd ed.)https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

2 questions....

1) I'm not sure why there is a colon in the title after "Bread & Butter" for the first edition. Is there a way to remove that? It only shows part of the title in the URL otherwise.

2) I only added the new paperback so far. Do I also add the hardcover separate and merge that too? Do I add ebook formats separate (kindle, nook, etc)

Thank you for your help.

Renske | 12295 comments A Colon is often used on Goodreads to separate the title and the subtitle.

If your book is available in different formats you can add those too to Goodreads and combine them with the existing editions. For ebooks, Kindle editions are added with their ASIN and with the format as 'Kindle edition'. Other ebooks are listed with the format as 'ebook'.

Cindy Amrhein (historysleuth) | 7 comments Oh, it's not a subtitle, just all one title. Should I see the new one on my authors area under "my books" or no?
If I have ISBN number for the Kindle do I still use the ASIN or do I show both?

Thank you for your help.

We use ASINs for Kindle editions.

Only one edition of your book (the most shelved) will show up on your dashboard, but it will link to all the other editions.

As far as the title, it's a subtitle the way Goodreads usually does things.
