SOLVED. YA Boy angel bad guys in suits with scary creepy faces work for bad angel [s]

Okay, I read this book when I was younger. Can't be very old, I believe I read it in elementary school or middle school so around 2003-2008. It's a fantasy/fiction book. It's similar to inkheart and percy jackson and all that.

The book is about a boy, this guy with wings finds him and is like his mentor throughout the book, I don't remember the connection. There is something to do with a key I believe. He goes into a house thats like this whole world. There are bad guys in suits who have creepy faces I believe and then towards the end there's the main bad guy that they work for and they have like a battle in a room in the end (think like Valentine from the Mortal Instruments)

So that is all I can remember from the book, PLEASE HELP. I loved that book so much and I have no idea what it was called!
