Question about... how it works

It's a good month to ask as this is our first month with 3 books. We usually have one fantasy novel and one science fiction novel a month. When voting for April, we had a run off vote for the fantasy selection that ended in a tie - so I decided we'd go with both.
In a usual month, it works like this:
1. We vote 3 months ahead. So, this month, April, we're doing July.
2. Alternating genres each month, one member volunteers to nominate 4 -6 books that we vote upon; if no one book wins the vote by 10%, there is a run-off.
3. At the same time, for the other genre, a series of themes are selected and voted on (I have a list that I draw from each month for the themes and there's a theme recommendation thread)
4. Once the theme is selected, there are open nominations for books within that genre and following that theme. Once we have sufficient books nominated and seconded, we have a vote and do the 10% thing again.
5. Then, the person nominated book is read beginning the first of the month and theme book is read beginning the 15th of the month.

It'll create a thread on the 'Monthly Nominations' folder and send out a mail that nominations are open. If I think it's necessary, I'll add some definitions or guidelines along with a fresh set of our nomination rules.

I have a (probably) silly question. I'm trying to understand exactly how the readings are organized. On the home page of the group and in "currently reading", there is 3 books at the moment. And I just received an email saying we'll start reading "Terminal World" by Alastair Reynolds next week. I tried to check the rules for the selection but I'm still not sure about it.
So how does it work?
Isn't there 2 books a month, one started on the 1st and then other one on the 15th , alternating SF and Fantasy?
I'm just asking so I can organise my readings. I'm reading "All the Windwracked Stars" at the moment and I wanted to read "The Dirty Streets of Heaven" but I might directly jump into "Terminal World" just to "sync" with the group.
