Bookkitten (collector of nice things) (thebookkitten) | 17 comments (since I don´t get how to do that and don´t want to change every single volume...)

Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne Kanzenban (Japanese) & Phantom thief Jeanne (English) are one and the same 6 volume reprint series of the 7 volumes series Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne by Arina Tanemura.
Please merge them.

The series is also known as Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne Perfect edition (German) published by Egmont in 2008, but I havent spotted it yet.

Empress (the_empress) I'm not sure I fully understand.

1. Do you need the editions combined? This and this and then all the others in the series?

2. What is a PERFECT edition and how is it different then the other editions?

3. Some links and explanation to what should be done would be extremely helpful and. Since I and I guess others are not into Manga doing a guesswork is not an option for me/us.

4. When you say change volume, does the series need change in order or do you mean changing an edition?

Thank you

The Phantom thief series & the Kanzenban series are the same books in different languages. So instead of merging every book seperately, is it possible to make one clich which says Phantom thief Jeanne = Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne Kanzenban.

2. Perfect edition is the German name of the Kanzenban series. The Perfect editions series was published by Egmont in 2008.

The difference between the original Kamikaze kaito Jeanne series is, that the original series consists of 7 books with ca 190 pages.

The K. K. Jeanne Kanzenban/Phantom thief Jeanne/ K.K. Jeanne Perfect edition series contains 6 books more pages per book. It´s a thicker reprint of the series with less volumes.

Links which could help:
href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kamikaze-Kait...
href="http://www.amazon.de/Kamikaze-Kaito-J... edtion
href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Phantom-Thief... thief
Those series are one and the same reprint series

href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kamikaze-Kait... series German edition
href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kamikaze-Kait... series English version
7 volume series

I am not able to visit the Viz graphic novel page since it´s just for the US. CMX manga is down, all infos of the German data like isbn are also available on manganet.de

Empress (the_empress) 1. merging and combining are two different processes. In this case you need to combine them, manually. You can combine multiple books but only if they are different editions of the same book. There is no shortcut in combining multiple books with multiple editions. Sorry.

2. If the volumes are different 7 vs 6 volumes, the editions from those series should not be be combined. Meaning volume 1 from the original series (containing 7 volumes) should not be combined with volume 1 from the other series.

Empress (the_empress) I am trying to determine how many volumes will the English series have - 6 or 7?

I think it is 6 because : Viz has now retranslated and republished the series in slightly longer volumes – this first book contains six chapters, where the original run had four per volume.

Empress (the_empress) Combined English and German Editions. (all 6 volume sets, the English ones are YET to be published.)

So all of this for combining 5 edition? IMO it would have taken you much less time to combine 5 editions then to write down all that information.
