Very nice collection you've read and shelved in Mr. Bennet's Library, Debbie!
Oh good, Yes, Mr. Darcy got a good rating. I look forward to that one. Loved Darcy Goes to War and Imperative, too.

I haven't read it, but I skimmed the first bit, and now I'm curious. The blurb I found isn't terribly clear on what it's about, beyond Elizabeth and Darcy, of course.

Am I right in thinking that this was written by J L Ashton the author of A Searing Acquaintance.
If that is correct it will be easy enough for me to add this book to goodreads (if not I can still add it under jancat as the author)

Below was copied from the story site....I have not explored the bottom link but do plan to do so.
A Searing Acquaintance ~ Mendacity & Mourning ~ By The Numbers
(And another 20 or so stories available to be dusted off and read here at AHA)

If there are any other books which you would like added let me know

Grats on hitting 100 Sheila!
I listen to audiobooks a lot at night before bed or while I am working (desk job). I tend to get distracted though so I usually only listen to audiobooks I have read already and are favorites so I don't have to focus as much to keep up with the story. I love Amazon Whispersync :)
I am about to turn 32 with two kids under five so reading is definitely a trade off for something (usually sleep... or putting away laundry haha). My Mr. B goal was a pretty tough challenge since I rotate in some non-JAFF as well. Time to start reading some novellas! We are going to the beach next weekend so I will definitely be adding more finished books to my list soon!
My updates:
33. Darcy and Elizabeth: A Promise Kept - 4.5 Stars
34. Unwilling: A Pride and Prejudice Vagary - 4.5 Stars
35. Rumours & Recklessness: A Pride and Prejudice Variation - 5 Stars
36. Hope For Mr. Darcy - 4 Stars
37. Darcy vs. Bennet: A Pride and Prejudice Variation - 4 Stars
I am currently reading a non-JAFF by Michele Paige Holmes. She has a nice three-part regency series about three siblings. I really enjoyed them if anybody is looking for some non-JAFF regency to read.
I have Darcy By Any Other Name for the June Someone Else Pick. I am dying to read it but with all of the rave reviews I am thinking I am going to want to pick it up on paperback. Anybody have any inside info on when it is coming to paperback?
I also have The Abominable Mr. Darcy: A Pride and Prejudice Variation, Miss Darcy's Companion: A Pride and Prejudice Variation, and The Coming of Age of Elizabeth Bennet on my soon TBR lists.
Clipping right along there, Shannon! Have fun with your beach reading- looks like you are busy and the downtime will feel wonderful.
Love seeing all your high ratings.
Not sure about Darcy By Any Other Name's PB release. I'm getting a paper copy, too.

Now, i just need Rainbow Promise to be in paperback too!

Master Elizabeth Bennet: Loved this one. Melanie wrote on FB that this was one of her early books. I found it very endearing. One of my faves.
Rainy Days: An Alternative Journey from Pride and Prejudice to Passion and Love: I lost count as to how many times I have read this book. Maybe 20? I don't know. Still one of the best to me. I read it to get ready for The Rainbow Promise sequel.
The Wrong Arrangement: This is the last Schertz book that I had not read yet. I loved this one too. She can really tell a story. I like that I am always surprised with what goes on in these books.
Shannon wrote: "Darcy By Any Other Name is now available in paperback! I knew it was long but I didn't realize it was over 600 pages! I need to get started shortly if I plan on finishing before the end of the month."
Thanks for letting us know. I wanted it in PB. And long is good. She writes so well. :)

Shannon, I didn't have my first child until I was 33 (infertility problems) so Imagine yourself older and having those energetic children plying at you for time and attention, much less all the work in keeping a house, making meals, laundry, etc. So I am making up for my reading now, gray hair and grandchildren.

I had my daughter 1 month before I was 40. My neighbor had twins later than that. Can you imagine how hard that must be?

I think it is just always good to appreciate what you have wherever you are. I had mine just before 40 and was so happy I did because I was more mature and had a whole life of my own before parenthood. I was ready to devote myself and love it. It is good from any angle being a parent. Children be they human or fur-kind only add to your life. :)

I am hoping someone knows it. Otherwise, I will have to read almost every book again. I would love to do it but maybe not all of them. I think Bingley takes a mistress. J and and E drift apart as their marriages are so different.

It has 1300 reviews on GR.

Is it from the Berdoll series? I love that series. (just not the Darcy's french you-know-who) I bought Very Nice Ways to Say Very Bad Things: The Unusual Book of Euphemisms for my husband because he enjoyed all the ferret-chasing-down-the-hole references. :)

I don't think I have read that author yet.

Thanks, I will avoid that author. :)

I read all three of Berdoll's series a long time ago but that was before I started posting reviews. I want to go back and reread all of them in order to post my own reviews but with so many on here and on Amazon, I don't think anyone needs my reviews to make a decision. I remember finding the story line very intriguing but here is just sex all over the place and Lizzy is nearly r****d in one scene.

I don't remember that scene but I remember that I liked them a lot. They were some of the first JAFF books I read.

I personally believe that if you love a book then I'm almost certain to love it too!!!

38. Miss Darcy's Companion: A Pride and Prejudice Variation - 5 Stars - I flew through this one. Loved it!
39. Darcy By Any Other Name - 4.5 Stars - Considering the length I finished this one pretty quickly as well.

That's it. I have to read Miss Darcy's Companion now. Thanks for the review.

Oh, I bought the paperback. It says they will ship it when available in 1-2 months?

I have a shelf like this called "have reason to avoid." It's very useful, either to mark books with bad reviews that dissuaded me, or just plot points/elements that I don't like (cliffhangers, etc.). Until I had that shelf, there were books that kept coming up in my recommendations or elsewhere, and I'd forget that I'd already triaged and tossed them out.

Great Misfortunes: Darcy kisses E while unconscious which reminded me of the UK video telling people not to give unconscious people tea which was in reference to the rape case in the news. I really couldn't get that out of my head the whole time. Plus, E seemed a bit to ungrateful and purposely stubborn for me. I will reread it once I can forget the video. I just kept thinking, "Don't give her tea, Mr Darcy! She is unconscious." Here is the video if you want to see what I was thinking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gp6al...
Miss Darcy's Companion: A Pride and Prejudice Variation: I really liked this one. I haven't read too many of these E as working girl stories where Mr Darcy did not know her beforehand. I liked the new-to-me angle. My only wish was to have more info at the end as to how they coped with everyone else. It seems that they were a scandal but that was it.
Elizabeth Bennet's Deception: A Pride and Prejudice Vagary: I definitely liked this one better on the second reading. My only complaint is that there was an outbreak and no one died. :( I like where the outbreak came in the story though. I liked it very much this time.
Compromised! - A Pride & Prejudice Variation: Still loved this one. So many compromises, just too fun!
Mr. Darcy to the Rescue: A Pride and Prejudice Variation: Forget about Calgon, give me Mr Darcy.
Darcy and Fitzwilliam: A Tale of a Gentleman and an Officer: I reread the first two books, so I could read the third one. This is a really great book and the best of the three. Loved it.
Sons and Daughters: A continuation of the previous book and book two of the series. It was strange. It could have been written by someone else. Since I read these back to back, I was surprised at how much her style changed for the second book. It was consistent with book 2 to book 3. The story was still romantic and interesting but less D and F than the first.
Wives and Lovers: Darcy & Fitzwilliam: The Pride and Prejudice Family Saga: Last of the series, and the least liked by me. The story was rather dreadful and sad. I wish I hadn't have read it. As stated before, D And F do not die at the end but the story has very little to do with them. It is about there children but egads, I don't want to know anything about them now. It is almost to the point of "make it stop."
Fantastic amount of reading and that includes some re-reading, Talia. I remember liking Darcy & Fitzwilliam, but it was a while back. I never got around the the next book. Good to know to keep my expectation down.

121. Imperative: A Tale of Pride and Prejudice, Volume 2 - 4 stars
122. Rainy Days - An Alternative Journey from Pride and Prejudice to Passion and Love - 4 stars
123. The Rainbow Promise: After Rainy Days - 3 stars
124. The Coming of Age of Elizabeth Bennet 5+ enthusiastic stars
125. The Abominable Mr. Darcy: A Pride and Prejudice Variation - 5+ stars
