Erika wrote: "Talia, I knew you'd like All or Nothing!!!! Doesn't it just rip at your heartstrings?? All the miscommunication!!!!"It is so amazing. I sent it to my sister to read though she says she won't read anything on a computer. I told her it was so worth it. Thank you. You have great taste.
All or Nothing was written by At Leisure, and it and it's alternate ending are no longer available on FanFiction.net. I just made a page here on GR.
Claudine wrote: "So glad you love it. I'll read it soon ..."You will love it! Erika has my undying affection for sharing this with me.
She can send it to her kindle Talia. They're on sale this week. So worth it for reading fanfic, IMO.

Talia, you are so sweet!! {blushing}
Claudine wrote: "Lol Talia!! Erika is the bomb!! I couldn't agree more!!!"Still blushing over here!! Lol
Claudine wrote: "She can send it to her kindle Talia. They're on sale this week. So worth it for reading fanfic, IMO."If only she had a kindle! I showed her mine but she said she doesn't read enough to justify the expense. I love my kindle too. And I have everyone here to thank for me getting one.
Ladies here's the page I made for All or Nothing by At Leisure. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
Erika wrote: "Ladies here's the page I made for All or Nothing by At Leisure. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2..."Thank you! We need to spread the word on this for later-comers like me.
Nicole, message me you email and I will send you the PDF of All or Nothing and the alternate ending.
Erika wrote: "Nicole, message me you email and I will send you the PDF of All or Nothing and the alternate ending."LOL. We had same idea. Sent you a message, then saw this :)
Lol, Nicole!! I sent he story and alternate ending, and my first 2 lists of all the JAFF stories. I am working on he rest of the alphabet (I-Z) yet.
You ladies are all doing so well! Glad to hear you've got some good fanfic finds, there are some real gems out there. I am struggling for reading time at the moment, I think I'm still keeping company with Caroline Bingley on the challenge :(
I made a shelf for my reads for this challenge...and somehow I've got 2 more on my list than I've got on my shelf (not counting the 2 unpublished items on my list). I swear the books are hiding from me, because I can't figure out which ones are missing! Grrr. LOLLatest reads:
56. A Walk in the Meadows at Rosings Park - 2 stars
57. When Mary Met the Colonel: A Pride and Prejudice Novella - 4 stars
58. A Noteworthy Courtship - 5 stars
59. Emma - 4 stars
60. The Houseguest: A Pride and Prejudice Vagary - 5 stars (thanks for the recommendation, Debbie!)
Only just popping into this thread (I've only read 7 books this year so far - I'm pretty sure Mr. Bennet would say I was "polluting the shades" of his library with such a dismal number!) as the All or Nothing story you are discussing has me intrigued. Could I get this one from you too Erika?
Here's one I read awhile ago but never reviewed as it is unpublished.https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11688929... By: Babsy1221
During the Hunsford proposal the parsonage is invaded by robbers and they want to take Elizabeth with them. Darcy convinces them to take him also.
Here's the author's story description: First Lizzy had learned of Mr. Darcy's hand in breaking Jane's heart, and then he had offered the most insulting marriage proposal in history. Could a day get worse? Only if she were to be threatened at sword-point, tied up, and whisked away by a rogue, with only the world's most arrogant man to watch over her. Luckily, that wasn't very likely to happen...Updated: Feb 6 - Published: Dec 24, 2015. I didn't find it on Amazon so I am still thinking it was unpublished.
:) I added correctly (librarian who's been adding these unpublished works) BOOK LINK: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I've read The Journey multiple times, and it's great. I just read the unpublished Kidnapped that Sheila is referring to, and it's just as good - maybe even better.

In my case, it turned out that I didn't factor in that the books I'm currently reading and therefore can't count yet I'd already put on my shelf for this year's challenge. Could that be true for you, too?

Thank you! I just finished reading it yesterday. Perfect timing!

22. So Gradually: A Pride & Prejudice Tale - Rated 2 Stars ☆☆
Kind of cute. Overall, just okay.
Can view my bookshelf for this challenge at https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
I've added unpublished fan fic stories to Goodreads before and then they have been deleted from Goodreads. I'm not sure by who but it wasn't me. Unfortunately I lost all my reviews I had done for the fan fic stories :( I lost all the data including when I had read them and how I'd rated them etc. So I wouldn't rely on Goodreads as a fan fic record, I'd back up your reviews etc somewhere else too!

RESPONSE FROM OTHER THREAD: I still haven't figured out all that I lost, Brenda! Drives me crazy. Bc I had relied exclusively on GR for my reading and "library" record :( There is a policy allowing fanfiction within certain criteria now. But not all librarians are as experienced or care enough to research. So have been being careful to add properly and monitor. I am not sure people know how much work goes into GR from books entered by people who do not know GR policy. Unsure why the option is even still available actually.
Amazon auto-import has helped... kind of. Sometimes messes with what librarians have already done and does not quite match up with policy, so still have to edit.
OK, what's this about Amazon auto-import? Do tell b/c I would love to add those fan fiction reviews I wrote there also. Never even thought about Amazon having that as when I tried to look up fan fiction to determine if it was published I just got an error message or some such reply.
Wow, didn't know they owned GR! I did have GR import from Amazon when I first found and signed up on GR but the fan fiction I reviewed in only on GR.
We're lucky that you're our librarian, Nicole. Thanks for adding the unpublished works for us. You obviously understand the process much better than most of us. Merci beaucoup!
Sheila wrote: "Wow, didn't know they owned GR! I did have GR import from Amazon when I first found and signed up on GR but the fan fiction I reviewed in only on GR."That auto-import just links up (adds) what you bought on Amazon to your GR bookshelves. Since the fanfiction is online and not published and for sale on Amazon.... it uses ASIN & ISBN #s to link.
Debbie wrote: "We're lucky that you're our librarian, Nicole. Thanks for adding the unpublished works for us. You obviously understand the process much better than most of us. Merci beaucoup!":) I like things right and proper (OCD, I know, but it helps in this case). If I had known myself better at a younger age, I would have went into publishing or library science (DREAM JOBS). But alas, I am in the legal field - these same traits help here too though.
22. Entanglements of Honor: A Pride & Prejudice Variation - 4 Stars - I really liked the unique premise. Light, quick read but very enjoyable.23. Mr. Darcy's Kindness: A Pride and Prejudice Novella Variation - 3.5-4 Stars - I can't really make up my mind on this one. I liked the unique premise and how Elizabeth handled being Mrs. Collins. I think this story would have been better as a full length book versus a novella though. There was a lot of loss in this story and the reader (and characters) aren't given much time to reflect on it.
24.Four Days in April - 4 Stars - A cute short story.
I am currently reading Accusing Elizabeth: A Pride & Prejudice Variation, which I am greatly enjoying.
I have been sick so I have had extra reading time since DH has been watching the kiddos while I relax in bed (lucky me :D). I am running light on Austenesque books on my kindle though so I think I am going to read a couple of unpublished pieces to get me through March once I finish Accusing Elizabeth.
Oh, that's not good. Hope you feel better soon, Shannon.
But glad that you have your books for comfort. Nice stack of them you got through and yay, good problem to have that you're running low and are cleaning up your unpublished stack now. :)

Hmm, I just realized that I zero messages from goodreads today. How weird is that? I guess I need to check my settings again.Edit: Just checked everything went to spam. Bad yahoomail, bad!
Nicole wrote: "I still haven't figured out all that I lost, Brenda! Drives me crazy. "Me too! I was upset that I lost all my North & South fan fiction stories as well. At least with JAFF there are heaps of really good resources like JAFF Index so you can attempt to reconstruct any records you lose when GR deletes the books. It's harder with the North & South fan fiction.
