Melody (runningtune) | 13300 comments That makes me sad - but I have seen that change in the manual. It used to be there had to be some sort of story line in the book. But I believe I read that they are books. I just stay away from them.

Some have Adventure Publications as the author, others have Lighten Up Enterprises. The descriptions are generic and identical.

Are these NABable, or are they acceptable listings?

Chris, did you NAB #114, or #113? I can't see any indication of #114 being NABbed, and I was able to add the info from Worldcat without problem.

ETA Ah, I see you only changed 'book' to 'not a book'. That is not the way to NAB titles (fortunately, in this case).

Amazon said pb too but as I added the cover from there I got a bit unsure.

Worldcat says it is a 27 X 28 cm format book with a DVD included. I changed the format to paperback, thanks.

#122 I did some research. Maybe someone else could elaborate. When I searched the ASIN for the denoted "Kindle edition" on Amazon, no record came up. Potential NAB, but not sure. Looking at the cover image on Goodreads, seems pretty harmful graphically with that almost-pornographic image there on the Goodreads page you listed. What are the rules for these types of cases?

☕ Lachgas ♿ (lachgas) | 9386 comments There are tons of such covers (which look all pretty similar, which is why I first thought "spam" - and without page numbers)... sometimes on author profiles which have other normal books.
I don't speak any Japanese si I was just wondering if that are real books or just a kind of picture you can order on your Kindle. (Or just spam placed on amazon)

I'm only asking because it's still confusing for me how Goodreads deals with this "not book" items, sorry

Correct. All secondary author attributions should be deleted, and the media type should be changed to "Not a book."

I didn't check the log on all of these, but the ones I did look at were all added by Amazon's bot. I do flag records when I find one added by a reader so staff can review.

Chris, please see Msg #117; Lethe provided a link to the Librarian Manual's instructions on how to NAB titles.

#134: Done. Because the DVD and print books shared the same name, I separated the DVD; changed the primary author to NOT A BOOK; removed the cast from author list; and updated the media type.
