I was in Paris with my friend last week and she was wearing a purple hat and coat, and she has huge eyes, and I was getting flashbacks of some little illustrated character from a book who would be a cute girl dressed similarly to my friend in this picture who goes on adventures.

It worked fine for me. There's a cartoon character called Madeline but i can't seem to find a book of it so it may be just a cartoon. I think she goes on adventures to different cities, Paris may be one of them. She also wears a purple or blue coat and hat, I think.
