The Last Lecture
question
If you haven't read _______, you should.

(This isn't really about the Last Lecture, but Goodreads made me pick a book.)
Let's see if I've got this right. Hopefully this starts a discussion in my Goodreads' friends feed. Looking to catch some great reads, so fill in teh blank: "If you haven't read _______, you should because __________.
I'll start. If you haven't read Pausch's "The Last Lecture," you should because it's short, pithy, wise and delivers good thought-value for the time it takes to read it.

If you haven't read "Choke" you should because it is unlike any other book I've ever read, and if you look deeply it does have a lot of really important messages. But be prepared to be taken out of your comfort zone a little bit!
If you haven't read "The Four Agreements" because it is short, insightful, makes you think about little differences that make a big difference, wise and delivers so much good for the time it take to read it!
And I agree with the Last Lecture, I read it after the Four Agreements.

If you haven't read "The Five People You Meet In Heaven" then you should because of the positivity the writer exudes through his words. He talks about death and yet he seems so positive and meaningful. The lessons on life imparted are quite poignant and moving and definately worth a read. It was so wonderful that I even started a discussion on the book "Where will be your heaven?".
By the way excellent topic for discussion!!!!!

I tell everyone who asks me for book recommendations to read the Last Lecture and Kisses for Maddy by Mathew Logelin. Both books made me bawl. and Kisses for maddy? made me bawl in public no less! Have tissues nearby for both books.
Have to read:
"A Man's Search For Meaning" (Only the first 100 pages)
"Tuesdays With Morrie" and
"The Last Lecture"
