"Hey you." Damian whispers loudly,"I got your present."
"Too bad- Dont worry it didn't cost too much." He promises,"I figured Chris had that covered."
He smiles handing her a couple bags,"This one first." Inside the bag is what could be a years supply of chocolate,
Damian laughs making a "shh" sound but smiles,"Im glad. Here- this is for Chris more than you. To get him back for scaring you. He can't get away with everything after all." he hands her a smaller bag with a few gag toys like electrocuting gum.
"No problem- happy late birthday." he says.
He smiles satisfied and leaves her in peace to read.
Emily was sitting curled up in one of the window seats with a book in her lap, not really paying attention to anything else.
Jeremy walked into the library, he looked around and didn't really see many people and was thankful for that, he hated large crowds, he walked down a few rows of book shelves, after he walked out out of one he stop as he saw a girl in the window, "thats my favorite spot" he said in his head
Emily felt someone watching her and she looked up from her book and looked around for whoever it was watching her.
he continued to stare, not really looking at her but the window seat she was sitting in
"Do you have a problem?" Emily asked the guy when she found the guy who was staring.
he snapped back into reality when she spoke to him, he saw that she was looking at him now, "your in my spot, move" he said bluntly
"This is my spot. From 2-3 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. As my watch says, it's 2:48 which means this spot is still mine for 12 minutes" she retorted.
he got a bit angry and his left eye twitched a bit, it happens whenever he gets mad, "so what? im here now" he retorted her retort
"And it's my time so back the hell off" she seethed, putting her book down hard on the seat and standing up.
((how big is the window anyways?))he walked closer, "im trying to be civil here" he said in an angry tone as he stopped in front of her
((Big enough she could lay down on the cushion))"By staring at me and informing me that I have to move?" she asked incredulously
((cool))"yes, that me being civil" he said, "would a please be more civil" he said sarcastically
"You not wasting my time would have been civil" she glared at him. She picked her book up and pushed him put of her way. "I hope the extra 8 minutes was worth it" she told him and went to leave.
he grumbled, and cursed at himself, "hey, wait" he said, loud enough for her to hear and not be too loud for a library
"What do you want now?" she asked glancing over her shoulder at him.
he sighed, "im sorry, i didnt mean to be such a jerk, im not having a good day" he said, "look.... the window can hold at least two people....we can share it"
"There's a reason I only have it from 2-3." she told him
"and what would that reason be?" he asked a bit curious
She wanted to retort by saying that it was none of his business, but he had apologized. "I have class, I have to go." she told him and walked off
"h-hey which class is it?" he asked, he didnt know why asked it, it just popped out of his mouth
"Look seriously I can't stay" she told him and continued walking, faster now though.
"can you at least tell me your name?" he asked, again he had no idea why he asked it
She was already out the door though, and didn't hear him when he asked.
he sighed heavily, he walked over to the spot, he put down his bag and sat in the seat, looking out of the window, "smooth Jeremy, very smooth" he said to himself then cursed again before getting out a book and reading it

Emily was curled up in the window seat again, sipping her tea as she read. Thankfully the library wasn't as full as it was on normal Wednesday's at this time, so she was enjoying the quiet.
Jeremy entered the library and basically rushed to get to the spot today, he stopped when he saw she was there again
"I can feel you staring" Emily told him, not looking up from her book.
he sighed and walked over to her, "mind if i sit down?" he asked her
"Go ahead" she shrugged glancing up at him.
he dropped his bag to the floor, he sat on the opposite side of her, he grabbed a book from his bag and started reading it
Emily tried to ignore him as much as she could, which was getting increasinly harder.
he sat there in complete silence, the only noise he made was from his breathing and turning the pages in his book, he knew it was an awkward silence, the only thought rushing through his head was what to say
"You have ruined my reading time twice now" she huffed
he looked up at her, "excuse me?" he asked. not sure if he heard her right
"You've ruined my reading time two times now." she repeated
"he looked down at his book and continued reading, "you could always just ignore me" he said
"No I can't. Do you know how hard it is to go from complete silence when reading to having to listen to someone breathe and flip pages. Its incredibly annoying" she told him.
"would you rather i hot breath or flip pages, you only get one not the other" he said, still looking into his book
"Hmm, well if you didn't breathe then you can't flip pages" she observed.
he silently chuckled, "now thats just out right evil" he said, still reading
