The Da Vinci Code sold 80 million units, which is incredible. I liked Origin more than DvC because I couldn't keep track of the characters in the latter, controversial book.

Besides The Da Vinci Code, I have also read Angels and Demons and The Lost Symbol. I found all three of them good but The Da Vinci Code is my favourite as I found the characters more interesting and the atmosphere in the book was also good. The other two book's were very interesting but some parts were boring especially the long drawn out action scenes. Many of the characters were not interesting as well.

But I prefer Umberto Eco to Dan Brown. The latter's writing is a bit simple.
I loved Da Vinci Code better. If so cool to think of Jesus having a child and their bloodline. I couldn't stand Inferno, I don't think I managed more thank 50 pages

A BookTuber who ranked all 7 novels of Eco's, says that it is recommendable to start with The Prague Cemetery. I will have to read a few books before getting to it, however.

I think I may like As the Crow Flies. Jeffrey Archer hasn't let me down so far. I was putting off reading that book because of it's sheer size. Now I have got motivation to read it.

Don't worry, you won't be disappointed. I have given some Archer books 5 stars, such as a couple of books in his Clifton Chronicles series. But even with The Prodigal Daughter, the highs were really high. I read Kane and Abel when I was a teenager. Will read that too in due time.
