The cover is a light green and has pink slippers on it. It's about a woman whose husband died and she becomes severely depressed. I honestly don't remember much about it except that there is a scene in the supermarket where she has a hard time and I think she talks about renovating or redecorating her home. Also sorry about the lack of info here. It is fiction, I am having a hard time remembering when I read it, but it was in the last 14 years, to narrow it down between 2000-2006 and when I read it, it was a newly published book.

I have read a similar chick-lit book before, P.S. I Love You. They made a movie of that one, but I didn't think the movie was particularly good.

That tends to be the way it works. The only time I've thought the movie was The Help. I loved the book but I actually think the movie is better. The acting is fabulous.
