This book is about an 8th grade boy whose mother and grandmother (whom he lives with) are witches and he's a bookworm. He gets into a play at school and the play he's in (I'm fairly certain) is Macbeth. A new girl in school starts befriending him and is thrilled to find out his mother is a witch, he starts liking the girl, then supernatural things start happening with the play at school centered around the boy and the girl. I'm pretty sure the girls name is Leslie.
