Anne Berkeley (aberkeley) I use it all the time when writing scenes in cities I haven't had the opportunity to visit in person. How many of you have utilized this too?

message 2: by Mark (new)

Mark Absolutely. For cities I've never been in, for medical information, for the layout of certain penthouse apartments, for the style of houses in Queens, NY. All the time. I find it is invaluable.

Mark Oh sorry, I skipped right over that word -maps- I use that too, but I also use google in general for all the other stuff I mentioned.

Anne Berkeley (aberkeley) lol Mark, I know what you mean. I often wonder if they sensor searches on certain keywords. I do searches for medical info all the time. Some of them are often dubious.

Sarah, it's a shame they don't run a points program based on virtual travel. lol

Mark Yeah, I end up looking up poisons and the affects of certain drugs on your body. Rare genetic disorders and stuff like that. If the NSA was tracking me, they'd think I was some sort of mad scientist.

G.G. (ggatcheson) | 467 comments I have used Google maps but like Mark, I mostly use google. I spend more time on Google and Thesaurus than writing.
