why would the author leave us on such a horrible cliff-hanger and then go ahead and write another book(Talon) and have it published before the forgotten crown?!. has she forgotten about Ethan???

In 2015!!!!! What months were the other books released in? Isn't it usually the same month for each book? I need to know now!!!!!!!!!!
I hear sometime in 2014. Most likely in the fall.
