Eric Mesa (djotaku) | 54 comments On the web you can tell your web browser to tell a website it's actually another browser. Because some websites will fail if you use a lesser-known browser - not for any real reason, just because they're checking.

I bought Cat in the Hat for my daughter because I saw on the Nook page that it works on Nook Tablet. I thought that meant the Nook program for any Android or iPad tablet. It won't open on the web or in my Nook for PC. (WHICH IS DUMB!) Any way to trick the website into letting me get it so I can read the book I actually bought?

Eric Mesa (djotaku) | 54 comments I'm not sure. I can't get it because I don't have a device onto which it will be delivered. I don't have a Nook Tablet. I have Nook for Android, Nook for PC, and an e-ink Nook. That's why I'm trying to get it so I can figure out - maybe I can still view it and they're just being jerks about which device it goes on.

Mary (bookbuffy) | 4 comments there are other epub readers you can use in your browser maybe they will read it. http://www.magicscroll.net/# adobe has an epub reader not sure book might be only for Nook. you might have to be sure your nook for pc is signed into the account that bought the book.

PepperP0t or did you try Calibre to convert it to epub, making it easier for your nook? (caliber.com)

Have you checked in your library to see if there's a download option? I suspect this is an enchanced book and won't work on anything but the tablets, but that would be the first thing to try. You might be better off trying to get a refund, though.

Can't d/l it anywhere. But B&N says on their support page they don't do refunds for ebooks.
