Boundless
question
Faults in the ending of Boundless?

I found the ending practically perfect, but there was one thing that was always nagging at the back of my mind through my numerous rereads of this book- Angela had a shitty end to her story. She basically turns into a single mother who has thrown away her whole future. I felt especially pissed about this because Angela had always been like a sassy/sarcastic genius throughout the series. She totally threw away her future of being a lawyer or poet or whatever by getting pregnant with Phen's baby. Anyone else's thoughts?

Yes, but it happens all the time. It's logical. You can't expect a happy ending everywhere.
And Angela--though she threw her life away-- is happy. So that's all it matters. For now.
Like I said, I didn't mind, because it was logical.
