ABANDONED. Stained glass window maker dies, possibly ghost story add-ins

I'm looking for a book for my mother in law, and it has thoroughly stumped this self-proclaimed Google Queen.
The details that I have are as follows:
A man dies, leaving behind his wife in a home that they bought together. When the woman begins dating again, she notices strange shadows and off occurrences surrounding a stained glass window in the middle of a stairwell that she openly hated when they purchased the house. MIL describes it as a love story that turns a bit supernatural in it's storyline.

A long shot - The Other Side of Time by Jonna Turner? This book involves time travel (WWII). Part of the Amazon description: "A widow plagued by nightmares impulsively buys a stained glass window she is sure she has seen before. Unfortunately the window is from Europe and she has never been there."
