What did you think of it? Favorite or least favorite characters? Favorite or least favorite part? Will you read the sequels?

Harlee I liked it and thought I was going to go further into the series but I never got around to it. I couldn't stand John/Number Four's girlfriend.

Lauren (bookschief_managed) I'm actually all caught up with this series now and some of the books are far better than others but there were so many times I hated Sarah. I won't give anything away from future books, but I loved this novel and Henri was definitely my favorite, followed by Six and Four and Sam. :p

Laney Smith | 2 comments I didn't really like Sarah. I read the first book in about two days but have not read the rest of them yet.

Christy (craftychristylovesbooks) | 5 comments I LOOOOOVE this series and the novellas, The Lost Files. I very much recommend this series to everyone that's interested. There are supposed to be 7 novels and at the moment, 12 novellas, but I think with more to come. Right now there are 4 novels and 10 novellas released. Yes, Sarah is annoying but I think her purpose will make itself know in the future books.

THE BOOKS AREN'T ALL ABOUT SARAH^^ gosh! Clary, Bella, were annoying and most of us managed to get thru those series :)

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) | 3160 comments I really liked this book!
I've only read the first two books though and I didn't like the 2nd book as much as this one.

Krista | 97 comments I enjoyed this series so far and am waiting on the next one to come out. I love Sam and Henri a lot, their my favorites. I know the books have there dry spots, but still a good read I believe! Its been awhile since I've read them so I just might need to reread these books. :)

Keith Tempra (keithtempra) | 1 comments I already read this book! So far so good. I love Henri! Too bad he died. :(

Lauren (bookschief_managed) Henri is so freaking amazing. I named my car after him in his honor. xD

April Sullivan | 2 comments My favorite characters were Bernie Kosar and Sam. Yes, the dog and the friend. They both show so much loyalty to four, especially Sam, who should've been totally freakef. I also was very surprised with Mark at the end. I liked this book enough to check out the next 3. What I'm most curious about coming up is what's in the chest and the second ship.

Sabrina (brinasbooks) I didn't really like this book. It just didn't do it for me. I didn't like how it was written or anything. I thought he could've gone so far with the idea but it fell really flat. Kind of disappointing.

Rachelle (mamachelle07) | 91 comments Not my type of book. I actually liked the movie somewhat, but this was one of those instances were I think the movie did better than the book. This is one of those few series that I have no desire to finish reading.

Alex This book was pretty good! I am on the third one now. I agree with some of you saying that he's acts like a dumb teenager sometimes, and I also think that Sarah's character could be better. Overall it's a good series. The movie version was pretty good. I ended up watching it before I read the book.

Harshi Shetty (harshis) | 2 comments Looooove the book. I've been trying to get my hand on the second one now. My fave character was Sarah, because she like me loved photography and seemed really sweet. :D And yess, Henri! He seemed so cute and so loving <3
My least fave was Kevin! Ugh that guy.

Paula (paulamarina) Well, I read this some time ago, and I didn't like it. I stopped reading when I had 50 pages left, I read the end, and I said "that´s it, I can't stand this anymore". I didn't like neither John nor Sarah, the story wasn't attractive for me...
Sorry for any mistakes, I'm spanish and I don't speak english as well as I wish I could

Your English is better than most native speakers.

Heather (crystalmirror) | 16 comments I enjoyed the book, but the rest of series is not at the top of list for me. I found the movie more interesting, which never happens for me.

Margaret Laurente (emnluna) | 12 comments I just bought this book and I'm currently reading it.

chinami | 126 comments i love this series.

message 24: by Cyn (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cyn I just finished it and I was very impressed. It was refreshing to read because Lore takes his time to flesh things out. I also appreciated the lack of OMG moments. I know that sounds weird, but it's something that's rare nowadays in this genre. The pacing was good.

The one thing I'm curious about is whether or not we'll get to see more of Sarah and Mark. I wasn't expecting them to be so heavily involved in the book and I want to know if they stick around.

And my favorite character was Sam. He's pretty badass in a way only a high schooler could pull off and it's awesome.

Laura | 22 comments Just finished this book. I liked it, but didn't love it, however I will try and read the others in the series at some point as I want to see what happens.
As for my favourite character I think it is Henri due to his loyalty, bravery and wisdom. Also am hoping that in future books we might see more of Mark as he could have some pretty good character development.

Denis | 41 comments I just finished the book right now and I have mixed feelings about it. I'd been meaning to read it for a while but only now decided to read it, when I saw it was one of this month's books. I saw the movie a couple years ago and I loved it and when I heard it was made after a book I was excited to read it. Now that I finally finished it, I'm surprised to say that I liked the movie better, which is odd because I usually prefer the book.
I liked the book, but didn't love it and I was expecting way more when I started reading it. The only reason I liked John was because I was picturing the actor who played him in the movie all the time. I also found Sarah's character boring. I loved Six and Sam.
If the group challenge involves the rest of this series I might read the next books, otherwise, they aren't really at the top of my to-read list at this moment.

Shea this book is so attention gripping.... Definitely worth the read

message 28: by Shea (new) - rated it 3 stars

Shea I hate the girlfriend... I wasn't motivated enough to read the other novels. I think this ones better on its own.

Julia (fearsparks) | 1 comments I really liked the book, and I am waiting to borrow the second book in this serie from my teacher c:

Beverly | 55 comments Even though I Am Four is formulaic, it is still a great read. John is a sort of every-teen - just one with super powers. I think everyone can relate to his awkwardness and his loyalty to his friends. The crisis and climax last for almost 75 nail-biting pages! Now that is building the suspense.

message 31: by [deleted user] (new)

I think John should go with Six, not Sarah. Anyone with me?

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

I KNOW!!!!! ITS COMING OUT IN AUGUST AND ASDFGHJKL I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Mary Lowry (mlowry57) | 20 comments Just read the latest novella about 5. It helps yo get some background on the characters to better understand why they make the choices they make. He had a rough break with his Cepan and then falling into enemy company.

Mary Lowry (mlowry57) | 20 comments I enjoy this series, btw. It's one of my favorites.

I read the five novella, too. If you've read The Fall of Five, then you can read this spoiler: (view spoiler)

Julia | 8 comments I really loved I am Number Four, it was just all around a good book. I read this book about four years ago, so I don't remember too many details, but this book did stick out as one of my favorites. I honestly couldn't chose a favorite character; it's tied between nine and ten. So I continued reading the series, but it just got too long and dragged out for me to finish. The books as individuals were fantastic, I couldn't keep reading this series though, as there were other books I wanted to read. Also, the numbers became really confusing for me, like I couldn't really remember who was who and what power they had. If I had written down this information, there's a chance I would continue reading the series. All in all, very good book, I just don't have the patience to finish reading the series and write down facts I won't remember.

Ricky (spider-fan) @Rangergirl: I agree. #fixforever

Serena | 14 comments I saw the movie before seeing the book, and I liked the movie and expected to like the book - sadly, I wasn't in the least interested in reading the next book in the series after finishing this.

I would rather watch canceled TV shows like "Roswell" and "Smallville". Or read "The Host", I felt these had more alien characteristics in their back story cultures than Four and the others.

Which are basically the super-people of their race. Disappointing, to say the least.

Priya | 50 comments The romance is boring. John has no personality. Sarah was made to be liked, and she's failing that IMO. Six and Sam are the most cliche characters ever. And yet, I liked the books and series - the idea of being aliens who could only be killed in number sequence was interesting and creative, it has thrilling action, and I kinda just need to know what happens.

Matisse | 12 comments Holy hell no! The rest of the series is great, the first book wasn't the best but I loved the rest of the series. Sure I didn't like the turn out of any of the relationships but I really liked the idea and all of the characters except for Sarah. Though towards the end Sam and Four were annoying me but that was okay because it has different POVs.

I recommend reading the second book before you judge the series as the first book is completely different to the rest. The whole high school outsider cliche disappears as they go on the run and find the rest of the aliens who are all so much better than the first three original characters.

Sarah isn't even in book 2 thank god.

Though I don't like how every time they go to defeat the ultimate bad guy, something else stands in their way, I'm not sure if the series is ever going to actually end.

But honestly the next four books in the series are so much better than the first book.

C.C. Faye (ccfaye) | 10 comments I read all the books, and still waiting. My favorite characters are Marina, Ella, Eight, Six, five and nine. I hate that Eight got killed! Poor Marina.
I don't like Sam, maybe he isn't a match for Six.
I liked how Five betrayed Setrakus Ra, shows that he was a worthy character too and of course i love cute little characters like Ella.
Why did Crayton and Adelina have to die! And of course Henry!
Gaah! I just love this series. I don't know why it takes long for them to finish, i think there's seven books in total, so i have to wait three more years to finish it.!

chelsea (magiano) | 23 comments Three more years? There are three more books after The Revenge of Seven? I thought there were only 6 books in the series. Oh no! I have to suffer 3 more of those cliffhanger Pittacus Lore always gives. :(

Claudia | 7 comments It took me a while to get into this series and I thought it was quite weird but after a bit I couldn't stop reading then and now I'm on the last book the revenge of seven and extremely excited about book 6,7 coming out
