John Robin (john_robin) | 299 comments This folder is where we will do our team-blitz endeavors to get a book published. If it's a book we're trying to get into Quill, then title the thread "Let's get XXX into Quill" If it's a book that's already in Quill but you want it published by Inkshares, title the thread "Let's get YYY into full Inkshares".

As a rule, do not start a thread for your work. It should be left to the community to pick which works they are passionate about. If you want to start a thread for your work, it goes in the "Promote yourself / other work" folder. [https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...]

This is not promotion. This is a team incentive where community members will come together for a work they become passionate about. They will then strategize to 1) give feedback to help the author improve their page or campaign 2) give feedback to strengthen opening chapters 3) give some reviews 4) share with their readers through updates or social media 5) strategise other things like possible contests, etc.

If your work is picked by the community (i.e. someone creates a thread that says "Let's get [YOUR BOOK!] into Quill" then by all means get involved in that thread! Just don't start one yourself, because then this is self-promotion, not team-driven promotion.

Please do get involved in as many threads as you want! And there's no limit. I'm hoping we can stratify this growing community in a way where we can pool together and help great books get in front of our readers, using the true power of authors working together.
