In this conversation, I will talk about Dialogue in "The Outsiders" ,by S.E Hinton. Dialogue is when a person speaks, and it reveals their character (how they say it, and what they say). When Darry speaks, it reveals his character- For example, when he is fighting with Pony boy, he is yelling and saying mean things, suggesting that he is inconsiderate.
Also, when Darry changes, and becomes kinder, his character changes. He says nice things, and uses a calming tone of voice.
To conclude, dialogue in "The Outsiders" displays character.
