SOLVED. Lived underground(?) go up once for short amount of time [s]

I read this in elementary school, and am in college now. I'm not sure if it was a short story or a part of something larger but these kids were in a school like setting and everyone was preparing for when they could go out, normally it was too dangerous but for this one day it would be okay. It's not a lot to go on I know, and I don't even know what made me remember it.

A lot of people come here looking for All Summer In A Day by Ray Bradbury. It's about schoolkids living on Venus where the sun only comes out once every seven years, and for only an hour. There's one girl there who used to live on earth, where the sun shone every day, and they push her into a closet so she can't enjoy the hour of sunshine with everyone else.

Do you think that might be it?
