Kiara is fairly shy at first, but if you can get her to open up, you'll find that she's very sweet and kind. She's fairly insecure about herself, despite the fact that she's really pretty. She doesn't think she'll be able to win amongst all these girls who deserve it more than her, in her opinion.
History:
Her parents own a hotel. Although it's technically not befitting of her caste, she's more than willing to help out with cleaning the rooms, or serving the food in the restaurant. Her family treats their workers well, and many hope to work there. Because of her young age, and her beauty, she's learned to keep her head down when serving food and drinks, especially as the night goes on. She's started to use this in her regular life, however, and she's often overlooked.

Personality: Alfred is very strict and protective. He can sometimes get carried away and is unaware of how much he gets carried away. He always has a straight face on when he is working and not working, he never smiles.
Appearance: he has baby blue eyes, short scruffy brown hair and is 5'11.
History: His parents were born in the castle and worked in the castle. His mother was a maid and his father a servant for the king. He grew up and learned a lot about the royal family. He is a guard that keeps the castle safe and protected. He is the queen's personal guard. When he was little, he always played with the prince.

Personality: Krystina is hardly ever stubborn. She doesn't voice her opinion much, and when she does she's unsure about it. She dislikes leading or telling others what to do. Maybe silently disagreeing in her mind, Kyrs always has her views, but many times stays quiet. Speaking up is one of her weaknesses and she may get stuck in a unwanted situation, such as the Selection, because of her going with flow no matter what. She's shy and very regal. Also on her toes, Krystina is intelligent. She's sharp, canny, and the gears in her mind are always turning. She notices small details and is very observant. Krys is ready for action at all times. Krystina is forever loyal to those she loves and always puts them before herself. She sometimes can overwork herself to help others, without caring about herself or not wanting to disappoint. Disappointing others or failing is her fatal flaw and she'd go to extremes to please another. Her loved ones is the only reason she would speak up if needed, if it meant saving or helping them. Krystina is very sweet and caring, but may seemed closed off and too serious at times. She doesn't open up a lot and when she does, she's careful about it. As the oldest, she feels she must not let her siblings see her mistakes. For those reasons, she is alone with only her family, but not during her troubled times. She has no friends, only her siblings and parents right now. Kyrstina is fine with that, as more people to love means more to disappoint.
History: Krystina was a five before the Selection. She plays the violin, piano, guitar, and sings. With some stage fright, she dislikes preforming for others, although in the privacy of her family or herself, she loves it. For years she overcame her fear only to go through the same thing again the next night. She often wore herself thin singing. Her voice would be cracked and throat sore many days, to her dismay. Those were her worst times. She grew up with five younger siblings and hardly got enough food, for she gave it to her brothers and sisters. She is already awfully skinny, but the Selection will be cure her somewhat. Her siblings age from 9 to 14. The youngest are triplets. When she got the chance to enter The Selection, she could see the hope in her parents' eyes. She didn't think twice about trying and was amazed when she was chosen. Really, she didn't think she'd be looked at twice. She broke down sobbing when she had to leave her family, but it was for the best. She's determined to give her family food and resources.

Name: Queen JulietPersonality: Juliet is kind and loving towards her family in private but in public she knows she has to live up to the expectations of a royal and the precedents set by her husband's mother, and his grandmother, and his great grandmother. In trying to live up to those expectations she can come off as cold and downright cruel sometimes. She just wants to be the best queen she can be for her country and her family. Juliet genuinely cares about the well being of others and truly loves her family.

History: Juliet went through the selection when she was younger and has always felt unworthy of being the Queen. She was a four before the selection and has always felt out of place in the palace. She has been sheltered from most of the attacks of the rebels and is always frightened when they attack the palace.

Personality: Scarlet has always been a generous, selfless girl. Her family was shunned, because they would go out and help the Eights. At school when people would make fun of her family and call them "eight-wannabees" she would lose her temper and lash out. Sometimes even physically hurting someone. She hated the arrogance of society and how they laughed and ridiculed you for being a good, kind person. She stands up for what she belives in.
In the selection, she often gets in small disagreements with the other girls about the castes and other problems. She hopes this tough hard-hitting side of her will help her win the competetion and the princes heart.
History: Her life was joyous and full of goodness. (Read personality) Her mother is a dentist and her father is a lawyer.
Her sister, Kyra, was a kindhearted, mature thirteen-year-old. Kyra and her were very close. Kyra always looked up to Scarlet for her courageousness and confidence. Kyra followed mostly whatever Scarlet did, she purused becoming a writer, just like Scarlet. Kyra was heartbroken when her older sister left. She cried for days and told her not to forget her. Scarlet assured her she would always think of her.
Her parents were fun and easy-going, just like Scarlet. They were selfless and kind to everyone. They believed that loving others was more important than judging people, because of their caste.
She never obbessed over the prince, like most girls, but rather admired him and thought he was handsome. She was disguste with the fact the some girls loved him and yet they didn't even know him! He was a person and he should be treated that way! Not like some play toy you went ga-ga over. Her best friend, Melanie, on the other hand, was one of those girls. She proclaimed she would do anything to see him. So when they found out Scarlet is selected, Melanie got furious. Scarlet never liked the prince like she did, why should she be selected?! Scarlet had a guilt and sorrow weighing on her when she left for the palace.

History: I was raised as a 6. Unfortunately my birth father died after getting a serious case of an incurable/ rare illness. My mother didn't work so she needed to marry a man so my younger sibling and I could have a full stomach every night- that's how she out it. My mother was a 6, as I told you before, and so was the rest of my family. She ended up marrying a 5 named Luke Smith. Luke Smith, my step dad, is very kind and plays the trumpet, piano, and flute. My mother was unhappy with the marriage with my step dad. I just want to let you know she was egotistical and felt like we favored out step dad so she left within 2 months after the wedding. Now I live with my stepfather Luke. He is currently working a full time job at a hotel were many 3s and 2s spend time. I am pretty much the meal maker and have a part time job as a cello player at a fancy restaurant called Martin's Fine Dining.
I had a younger sister who my mother took. She didn't want to take me so I stayed. From letters sent from my sister she took away, Louise, I think my mother remarried another 5 and currently is learning how to paint and play the harp.. At least she didn't take my other sister, Melanie.
My step-dad recently got re-married. That would be his second marriage. My new step-mother is a pretty blond girl with blue eyes and a model style body. Her name is Chloe. Chloe, who I now call Mom, was also a five before marrying my Dad. Chloe has never been married before and is only 2 years younger than Dad. Also, she is a perfect piano and saxophone.
Anyway, I now live with my step parents and Melanie as a proud 5. We all work jobs. Since Melanie is only 13 she works from home making painting and selling them at art shows or local shops. I have a loving family and I am happy at where my life is physically and mentally right now.

History: Was born in Illea and grew up with a glamorous mother and a father who she never knew, since he was always away at work, getting another raise to add to his eight-figure salary. Her mother was so lively, and always admired how quiet and intelligent (Georgia is smarter than Einstein) Georgia could be. Georgia lived happily until she was selected and moved to the palace. Now her mother is almost jealous of the royals who she imagines Georgia communicates with every day, and the mother is somewhat bitter about it, pulling away from the competition. Georgia is stuck on books and reads like twenty every day. She is very well educated, for her father is a very important lawyer. She planned to grow up to become one herself if she wasn't chosen.

History:

Personality: Kienna is a sweet girl with a harsh personality. After working for different families each day she's toughened up. If you get on the wrong side of her you'll be lucky to not be offended by her comments. But there is a kind side, one that she doesn't show often enough. Her friends have told her that she is really nice, but she just can't let herself be nice all the time. It's just too much for her. However, she is a good liar and a good actor. Unfortunately it comes naturally.

"That dress looks so good on you!" I once told my friend, Jess, when she came out from the shops looking like a total rag. To be honest, I hated the dress, it looked way better on her in blue, rather than purple. But I wasn't going to destroy the friendship. She would hate me. Yet if she finds out I've lied, she'll destroy the friendship then..
"You sure?" Jess had asked, a little uncertain.
I nodded with fake confidence, putting on a real smile. I don't know why, I should have used a fake one; there's no difference.
"Positive," I had replied, skipping a bit ahead of her.
"See you tomorrow?" Apparently we were to meet up and discuss things. I couldn't say no, I'd said that the past ten days. Besides, I needed to get out more.
"Sure, same time?"
Jess nodded and hugged me, then ran down a side street to her house.

History: Kienna didn't show many skills growing up, mainly because she didn't have any. Her family weren't poor but neither were they rich, they got by with what they needed. Some would say that Six is the weakest Caste, with a silly reputation because you had to work for others. Kienna would disagree with that, as she thought it was a beautiful job. You got to spend most of your days outside which she didn't mind, breathing in the fresh air. She got to race with the other workers down to the field, and she loved it.

Past/Current Relationships: 1. It lasted 3 years and it was the best time she'd ever had. Unfortunately, Kienna got dumped when she volunteered to meet the Prince. She didn't know it would involve marrying him..
But now that she does, she's damn right happy about it. God, that Prince is H. O. T.
Past/Current Occupations: She used to babysit her friend's son, and she enjoyed it. She also was a maid for them, as her family couldn't keep working, so they lost their jobs and lost the money. Kienna picked up being a maid and the money started rolling in again.
Prince or Crown: Deep down, she wants the Prince. Of course she does. That's the whole point of the competition, right? To marry the Prince and live a happy life. But on the surface, all she ever talks about is the Crown. To be a Princess.. That would be amazing. But then, she might become Queen, all thanks to the Crown. Maybe the competition will change her mind?
Strategy for Selection: Try to catch the Prince's attention with her cute laugh, act innocent around others but then be like a she-wolf around him, feisty and hot. She acts innocent a lot, but it's not her true personality.

She's a bit sensitive which is unfortunate since most girls think she is out to steal their boyfriends or crushes and lash out at her.
History: Tae lost her father when she was young and was raised by her single mother who never remarried. To make up for the loss of income her mother flirted with any man she met with in an attempt to gain money or valuables. For the most part she got what she wanted and stopped leading men on.

History-
•Vicky was born into the job of being a maid. At age 6 she was cleaning. She was an amazing cleaner. She loved how things shined. So when they didn't she would clean them until they did. But due to her childhood exposed to chemicals and cleaning materials her hands had began to fall apart. Her previous Master didn't want to pay for hospitalization so now Vicky's hands are permanently damaged and frail.
•Vicky was moved up the ranks after her accident and this caused problems in the near future. Due to the trait of curiosity Vicky walked in on her Master having an affair. She was beat horrible and now currently has a scar in the side of her fAce. She was also starved during this incident.

Personality: Liz is a sassy sarcastic hardheaded woman. Constantly sarcastic and teasing, she is seen often disrespectful.Though she is quick to assume and assign blame she truly has a kind heart that is broken and worn.

History: From her young years, sassy little Liz always got into trouble. Her mouth and her actions forced her parents to lower her standing in the community from a five to a six. Being a talented artist, she was heartbroken, not just by the actions of her family, but of having to work away her soft hands. But a few smiles and jobs later, one of the palace guards got Liz in the back door to working in the kitchen and as a maid. She hasn't changed from her younger years outwardly and continues to tease and be creative. However it is all a facade to hide the pain.

She was born to a family who expect the most from their children, and she was always expected to succeed in life and gain only but the best. She has a perfect life, but she always feels the stress of expectations and pressure, so she always loves alone time from her family.
Family: Her mother and father live happily, her mother a teacher and her father a lawyer. She has two sisters whom are both younger than her, at 15, and 12. She gets along with them both but doesn't understand her parents choice of lifestyle.
