I read this book around 2012 or 2013. The book would be aimed at teenagers and adults. I don't remember much about the book, but I remember that when the main characters were around regular people the regular people went berserk and tried to kill them. Later in the book I believe the main characters deduced that they were possessed (by angels I think) and the reason people attacked them was because their primal instincts and fear took over. In the end I think they fought a being known only as the darkness.
I guess it qualifies as fantasy.
I read it as a hard cover book a while back; however, not remembering the name or author has made it difficult to find. I've tried for a while to find it on my own, but now I am hoping that someone else has read it and remembers.

I appreciate any help any of you are willing to give.

Sounds interesting. I am looking for an account of Fallen Angels, a story told from the perspective of the demons cast to earth, but not having luck finding it. Mine is more along the lines of theology, I guess.
