Vicci...this is precisely why I don't believe in DNF'ing a book. Sometimes moods, life, whatever can affect reading and enjoyment. I guess I wasn't in a space where this book could connect with me. But I read 2 books, then came back. Now I'm 3 hours away from finishing it.

she is a needy mess, i get it that she's trying to fill the space that Emma's father did but she is going about it all the wrong way!

I'm getting a nasty feeling about this, i know that he was abused by his father when he was small and it's great that Emma has someone to talk to about it, as her mother seems to forget that she actually is her mother and wants to be a friend but......i can see something happening between Emma and Jonathan and i'm not liking where it is going!!

Hey Vicci,
I finished this one and thanks to GR, I couldn't even post!

I know a lot of people don't like Jonathan, but I like him a lot. Definitely not more than Evan, but I liked Johnathan.

Emma makes herself a martyr (view spoiler)[ by putting up with her aunt/uncle and mother's crap. She called Jonathan and let him in when she wouldn't even share half that stuff with Sara or Evan.

Emma wasn't a good friend or girl friend. Her shutting out the people "closest" to her is unbelievably selfish. Especially after all their sacrifices, patience and love towards her.

I am not moved to go right into Book 3 as Emma pissed me off. I will read it, but maybe towards the end of the month. She really pissed me off at that end (hide spoiler)]
