My book is called the deadly harvest it is written by Carolyn Walker. This book is about 2 murders . I do not reccommend this book because it is hard to read and hard to read
This book is about a New York private crime investigator Nathen Marley was investigating a murder accident of a Russian man.
i do recommend this book because it was exciting and the scene were clearly described.
This is a thriller book which is titled east 43rd street. Six days before christmas, Nat Marley, a private investigator was drinking alone at the bar. Then suddenly a blonde woman in an expensive clothes with a charming diamond necklace entered the bar and ordered a martini. She paid in a hundred dollar bill, but she left the bar without her change. Because of this suspicion, Marley followed her, so he was interested with her but lost her because of the crowded New York. The next morning, as usual he would come to his office. To his surprise, the woman came to his office and made an odd request to him that he should take a blacksuit case in a locker at the Grand Central and give it to her husband, though she had the locker's key and meet his husband daily. Why did she ask him such a thing? This book was so interesting and thrilling. This book is also not hard to read and understand. It is also exciting that you might wanna turn over another page and soon another one. You will be interested to his actions and smart decisions so i do recommend this book to you.

so I chose this book “Death in Dojo”. It begins with the investigation of the reporter; her name is Kate Jensen, about the death of a Karate master in a Dojo, at a karate training room. While Kate tries to find out the evidences about the death in the Karate room, quickly another death is happened to Ito. Therefore, Kate thought that there isn’t normal on the students in Dojo. From that, Kate began to investigate master’s son and daughter. The evidences lead Kate to Japan. In Japan, she discovered the truth about incidence of thirty years ago from master’s daughter. Brendan Murphy who was hanged for the killing suffered a crime wrongly. The details in the novel present excitingly for readers. Eventually, Kate also investigated the person who is murder. That is Murphy’s daughter; it is because she knew her father is innocent, and she wants to revenge for father’s death.

The book I am currently recommending is called The Joy Luck Club. A modified short novel written by Amy Tan, tells of the intricate relationships between two strong-willed generations, following the intertwined lives of four families of Chinese immigrants and their first-generation American children. These mothers hoped that raising their daughters in America make the lives of their daughters successful. Each of the eight ladies narrates two stories from her own point of view except for the deceased whose daughter tells her stories for her. The mothers relate stories about their lives in China, and the daughters tell of the trials that they face growing up as first-generation Chinese-Americans. They wished that their daughters will learn to take better steps in life, than to take the wrong ones that their mothers have taken in the past, but the relationship between a mother and a daughter is so deep that they learn that a piece of their mother's personality traits will always be with them and no matter how Americanized a child may be raised, she will still see a Chinese part of herself inside.
Amy Tan indeed is a gifted writer with her own unique style and technical skills of writing of opening our imaginations to her world. The story is overall compelling and emotional; also it is full of intimate details that the novel seems realistic. It is told in a non-linear method that adds to this foreign feel. Each page is so touching and heart-melting that it makes me want to go onto the next to read what happens after. The novel is an engaging and exceptional book thus is hard to put down; I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it has my highest recommendation.
Trumpet Voluntary was the book i read for week 7 and 8. I must admit that this book is really nice to read since there's a little bit of mystery. This book's main character is Derek who used to be a musican, married to his best friend from music department, Rachel. But, as they're married goes by, more problems started to arise and they got a divorce. Then, Derek re-married with Malgosia who just recently broke up with her boyfriend Tibor. Malgosia and Derek moved to Scotland together because Malgosia said that she wanted fresh air. But that was not the real reason why she moved there. There was actually a real reason, just what might it be?
The book I read was Vanity Fair. The story seems like it's going to be one of those blonde girl/brunette girl parallel lives stories, but the plot takes so many twists and turns that this formula ends up cast aside. In my opinion, the story is not bad, so I recommend this book.
I read the book Emergency Murder by Janet McGiffin. This book tells about a death of the wife of a famous doctor called Nanette (the wife) and the doctor is Hank. Autopsy shows that she died from heart failure, however Maxine, an ER doctor thinks that it's not from a heart failure, she thinks that someone murdered her. Therefore, with her doctor friends and her friends from Marquette University, ahe tried to solve this case. I recommend this book if you like thriller and things about murder. There is also a little romance in this book.
