Show don't tell- do you think its a good writer technique Why?

I think it is because it makes the reader get more into the story and helps the reader learn to see signs people in real life give.

I did not like the series, but I found it confusing especially since both of the character's voices were very similar, even if their personalities were different. I don't think it was that important especially for most of the book the main characters weren't in different areas.

I enjoyed her writing style immensely.

(Commenting on things from above post)
I believe that their voices are similar because both characters are fighting for what they believe in. They see the world and want to hep save it. It makes since that they would have similar voices and styles of speaking even if they have different personalities. It just comes down to the whole helping people concept.

(Why I liked the style)
For me this writing style gave me more information without it being overwhelming. We got to see and understand both characters. Same goes with the detail. There is plenty to give us an image and explain what is happening without confusing us. I really just loved everything about these books.

I love the writing style. It brings two points of view (that could not be more opposite) and brings them slowly towards each other until both see eye to eye. I like seeing multiple different perspectives. It limits the effect that a book has of forcing someone to like the character solely because they are the main character
