When I did my share of serious interviews, I decided I wouldn’t repeat myself, and instead I would swap interviews with authors I already knew. We could easily come up with questions about each other’s work or something personal and offer our authors’ platforms to improve each other’s online presence.
We did a few interview swaps already with Matt Doyle, Joe Jackson, and Belart Wright, and it was
- fun
- quick
- interesting
- good for our followers (it’s easy to create a hooking tagline out of an original interview, and those posts received a record number of views on my platform)

See for yourself – which link would you rather click?
Read my interview for AwesomeGang, where I talk about how I became a fantasy fan, and my work on the book two in the Sky Ghosts series.
OR
Read my interview for one of my readers, Ken Higginbotham, where I talk about writing in other genres than Urban Fantasy, my favorite Sky Ghosts character, and the dangers of drunk shopping.

But there are also new authors, someone who hasn’t found good author/reader connections yet, or someone who simply doesn’t have time to seek out blogs that would agree to interview them.
This is why this group was created.

It’s for authors to come, check out their genre folder, find new interesting interviews, and offer those authors to swap interviews and share them on their platforms.
To make it even easier, together with a few others, I’ve prepared a list of questions that you can use. To find out more about it and join the Author AMA interview program, please read this post.
