A hand was placed on Kenichi's shoulder when Exultantis and the man had left. "Somethings are hard to tell." The voice said clearly, despite the rain. Huntress was smiling as she looked down at Kenichi. (Because I think she was taller.)
[[Because it's in his profile lol? Anyway, most of my characters are usually tall to very tall. How tall is Huntress?]]
[[:O I could check for you, but this will take me more time than I'm already taking atm so I'm just going to post for now.]]
Kenichi looked at the woman behind him, and raised an eyebrow. Another person. He sighed, and shrugged her hand off his shoulder, since he didn't liked to be touched, and was anything but touchy feely. "Indeed, but that doesn't mean she should subject herself to being dragged away and then struggle about it."

[[Btw I checked....it just says tall....]]
"She should make up her mind," he said bluntly, crossing his arms over his chest and frowning heavily. He wasn't interested in what her little problems were. Since it seemed to him, if the other guy was to go away, then she would have to make him herself. Kenichi wasn't some hero. He wasn't about to help her and be her valiant warrior.

"Do you drink?" Huntress asked as she looked at Kenichi, trying to get his mind off of Exultantis as she held up a bottle of Sake and a couple of glasses.
Kenichi looked over at Huntress, raising an eyebrow, finding the change of topic odd. "I might, what is it to you?" He said rudely, true to his nature. It had been a while since he had drunk so much, but he was very capable of holding his liquor, more than capable actually.

"At this time of the day? While that one over there is about to be dragged away?" He said incredulously, thinking right then and there that Huntress was an alcoholic, but that didn't mean he didn't want a drink. But he didn't trust her. He didn't trust anyone, who knows, she could have poisoned his drink.

"Do you think I tainted the drink?" She asked as she looked up at him, now that she was sitting. She might appear alcoholic but she just appreciates a good drink, not really going over board (much)
Kenichi, with his arms still folded over his chest, merely looked down at her sitting down. Glancing over at the Neko, he decided to seat, after great contemplation, none of which showed on his face. "Possibly, wouldn't put it past you," he said particularly since he was also this careful when it came to his sister.

"Or you could manipulate the gravity in the drinks to separate each component of the liquid to it's respective section and see if there is poison in the drink?" She also suggested as she held one of the glasses higher than the other for him to test.
"Go ahead, you can pour me another when you're done," he said looking at her, leaning back on his hands, and then added, "that would take too much effort unfortunately." He had no desire to use more effort than necessary. There was no need, not here anyway.

"I'm most surprised how you're not questioning how I knew about your ability or are you assuming I was just watching the fight?" She asked as she looked at him with a tilted head and slightly drunken smile.
"Or maybe I'm an assassin her to collect the bounty in her head?" She said, stuffing up the sentence due to the drunken state she was in since it was some strong sake.
"Everyone seems to know now, should I give a damn? If you know, good for you," he said, picking his glass up and making a shot of it, downing it immediately. He looked over at her lazily, and said, "And if you are? Is that my business? She's just some Neko clan leader I met. I have no obligation to help her, except help her help herself. Other than that, I couldn't care less." He had no opinions on people who presumed to know everything, not just presumed, but demonstrated knowledge of who he was when really, it was just speculation.

Kenichi didn't notice the rain, since he didn't like getting wet, he tended to always have a very light shield around him, deflecting the rain off him whenever it rained. It was more an unconscious, intuitive reaction from years of getting drenched. He merely looked up at the cloud covered sky, feeling even more thirsty now.

"What about her?" He said, not surprised that this woman seemed to know about Mio too. Everyone seemed to, friend or foe, Kenichi treated them all like foe. The ones who didn't, well, Kenichi had yet to meet one who was genuinely surprised. Mio had becoming notorious of late, utterly determined, and it bothered him.

Too many people she had lost from misjudgement and poor guessing, she thought them over as she rose another glass of sake to her lips.
He didn't confirm nor disconfirm, he merely shrugged, his mind now wondering back to Mio. Kenichi hoped that that man who called himself her boyfriend was taking good care of her. "Are you one of the Neko's clan members?" He asked, changing the subject.

She wasn't sure if that made her part of the clan or not but she had killed members of the clan during that event and it was something that she didn't easily take of her mind, making her less likely to include herself as part of the clan because of it.
"No, but that doesn't mean that you're not in somewhat related possible," whatever he had thought before was just one thing. He had presumed they were all cats, but then, that had been a guess. He was more than flexible with his thoughss, and for some reason, asking if she was a member of the Neko's clan felt right. "What are you then?"

"I once worked for the Nekora clan and I've also worked against them, the reason their numbers in the current generation are low is contributed to me." Huntress admitted as she looked up.
[[Sorry last post for me tonight]]
"An assassin, joyful," said Kenichi glancing over at the blonde woman, face impassive. "Oh? And what are within your standards of paymen?" He asked, after listening to her explain her allegiances with and against the Nekora.

(That was lucky for me, I actually fell asleep before you sent that)
[[Lols, lucky indeed]]
"And are you being paid right now?" Kenichi asked, yawning again, tired as always. And yet, he was also on high alert. He could hardly be any less. Looking over at the blonde, he considered her, taking in her physical condition.

Kenichi just looked at her, and said, "you don't have a reason for poisoning me, and my bounty sweetheart, is not worth as much without Mio's to go with it." In other words, he was worth nothing without his sister, and even if his sister was daft as can be when she wanted, he had no doubt she wouldn't fall easily into any trap. She wasn't a fool. "And I'm not particularly worried about you." Haven't enirely been. Just suspicious.

"I know what bounties are on my head, but none of them are matter if Mio is not with me. As you have noted yourself. And then there is the fact that you only hail from one organisation, or whatever, you do not speak for all the other assassins out there," he said, knowing full well, after all, one of his more unlikely friends happened to be his most useful.

"Says you." Kenichi didn't bother arguing. He didn't know her and he didn't particularly care. Despite how much he disliked that person, he trusted that man's word more than hers. He was the one Mio had dealt with previously, and who would constantly come to Mio for another task. Whoever this woman might be, that man was pretty powerful. Anything that was related to Mio, he knew. From his source, the majority of the requests required both him and Mio dead. Not Mio alive. Mio knew too much and was investigating...too deep.

(I think Mav might not be on because he's cross at us?)
[[?? Why would he be cross at us? lol]]
"Sure. You pick," he said, not particularly caring what they talked about. He could talk in circles if it suited him to mess around with the other person. THough usually when Mio was around, he was a who lot blunter. Alone, he was more flexible, strangely enough. BUt anxious all the same.

(Remember how he got the plot with Loki and everything including the trials, he's been wanting to continue that plot but we keep putting it off.)
[[Hmm yesh, but when we were ready he disappeared?]]
Kenichi just raised a brow. Really? He thought, looking over at Huntress, eyeing the notepad she had in front of her. Did she really expect him to tell her what his favourite food was? "Everything."

(But he's been waiting months, he probably got fessed up and will probably wait until the formal "event happening" email goes out)
[[There probably won't be a group broadcast with the group as it is currently. And added to the fact that it's Maveric's plot including as many people as possible can be difficult]]
"If you like," he said yawning, not elaborating at all. He had no obligation to tell her what he liked. Why would she want to know?

"I see, what items of jewellery are your preferences?" She asked as she wrote down quicker, the answers were short so she would have to write quicker to finish at the same time he does.
[[I might, once I catch up to everything and become properly active again]]
"Does it look like I wear jewellery?" He asked her, snorting.
"Does it look like I wear jewellery?" He asked her, snorting.

(K, for all we know I may be wrong anyway)
Kenichi raised a brow, but didn't contradict her. The more she got it wrong, the better it suited him. He didn't like others knowing what he did and didn't like.
[[Hmm...what has he been doing anyway?]]
