Hi, I’m a lurker that has just started posting. I’m 40, live in Newcastle Australia (2hrs north of Sydney on the coastline). I read pretty much anything and really enjoy completing lists. The satisfaction of crossing things off is just so good! I relate to both Rory and Lorelai. I started to really dislike Rory once she went to College. I am married, have a 21 year old son and two cats that act like typical siblings.
I am trying to read at least two books off the list a month.

I'm Cherene. I don't think people spend enough time analysing and spend too much time letting life pass them by. I read too much, vape too often, and, I'm told, that when my sister and I get together we talk so fast no one can keep up. I relate to Gilmore in that sense. I'm Jackie and I'm from New York! This reading challenge has been on my to-do list for so many years and I think 2022 will be the year I start making a significant dent. Like a lot of us, I grew up watching Gilmore Girls (I have amazing memories of swapping boxed DVD sets of the first couple seasons with my best friend) and it's always been a show that stuck with me into my adult life. Rory was such a breath of fresh air to see as a female protagonist on television at the time and I really saw a lot of myself in her. Now that I'm older, I'm relating to Lorelai much more than before. Happy reading, everyone :)

Hello! I have just restarted my Goodreads in an attempt to get back into reading. I track my reading using Notion but for quotes and notes I like how Goodreads automatically uploads and save them. I am learning to balance reading for fun and keeping record so I don’t forget what I read and can recommend much more accurately.
