Really liking this so far. Cassie is amazing! Reminds me of "The Walking Dead" a little bit. Looking forward to see where this goes and finding out why she shot the crucifix soldier in the gas station. I didn't quiet understand that.

I'm only on page 38 but I too was wondering the same thing. I thought maybe that guy was going to be another character guess I was wrong. Will read more tonight.

Sad that her mom died but at least her dad and brother are still alive. I have one more chapter to read but have to food shop.

Wow did anyone stop and think when he mentioned that there were more birds than humans? I had some bird problems this week my car they did a big poop feast. Creepy how I thought of that when the birds in the book are transporting disease.

Will read more later today.
