I was able to read

@Kelby:
I was disappointed in
. I've not been able to finish
and I think I'll dump this series after I do finish this audio.
Thank you for getting me to read it.
Happy New Year

Happy New Year

Thanks Joanne for giving me the push I needed to finish the series. I'm kinda sad that the series ended because I liked the supporting characters so much but I'm not sad to say goodbye to Sookie's whining. :)

Still working on the last book available, but probably won't finish it for another day...I enjoyed the other two I was able to read! =)
Four Horsemen
Devil May Care — ★★★★ 12/15
Man the sexual tension between Eddie and Captain could be cut with a butter knife from previous book…it was awesome to finally see them get together! Both have such tumultuous backgrounds and it’s such a shame so much time passed for these two before they got together. I appreciated how everything unfolded for these two. They didn’t have an easy time getting to the point when they got together, so it made sense that it wouldn’t be easy going after they took the leap! I’m looking forward to seeing how these two grow in future books!
Hellbent — ★★★★ 12/28
I feel like my rating is a bit misleading...for the story, this is a five-star-plus book all the way! I loved Shep and Noah’s story. I loved getting to really know Shep after seeing him support his brothers in previous stories. I loved seeing how the story unfolded for Noah so that he found worth in himself. I hated the massive amounts of grammatical and textual issues. On that front, it’s a two-star book. I realize since I’m an editor by profession that I can be overly judgmental. But there were some massive issues that required me rereading passages to make sure I knew what was supposed to be said. I would highly recommend the author have someone read through this story so they can point out the issues so perhaps they can be caught in future books. Thankfully the editorial issues didn’t ruin the story as a whole, but it sure made this read frustrating at times.

The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie (Hercule Poirot #1) 12/15/15 ♥♥♥♥ (224 pages)
The ABC Murders by Agatha Christie (Hercule Poirot #13) 12/29/15 ♥♥♥ (321 pages)
These are solid mysteries and I can recommend them to everybody who likes the genre.
Thanks again, Karla, for picking HP for me to read this month. :)
I finished a couple of other FWYS books this month, too:
The Lacquer Screen by Robert van Gulik (Judge Dee #9) 12/1/15 ♥♥♥♥ (183 pages)
Zločin na Bezdězu by Vlastimil Vondruška (Hříšní lidé Království českého #20) 12/8/15 ♥♥♥ (288 pages)
I missed my goal of finishing 8 series this year but I'm ready to do better in the next one. HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!
