Round and Dynamic and Flat and Static Characters

Jonas and the Giver are the only round an dynamic characters in the whole community. Everyone else have to be round and static because they don't know enough about the world. Jonas is dynamic because at the beginning he is kind of scared to learn about the past and carry the burden of his people. The other humans don't know about the past and don't have enough knowledge to change and have many character thinks. What do you guys think?

I agree. Jonas is round but I feel as if the others are flat characters. They have emotion and all but they are all part of the background. They just sit there and follow orders until the color comes back.

I agree. I meant to say that the other people in the community are flat and static but I made a mistake. The others can't be round because they can't feel things Jonas can't because they don't have enough knowledge. Also, the people don't know how to be different and change because every one wants to be the same
