I feel like Christian is not quite exposed in the first book so we'll see if by sentiments for him will change. I didn't expect to loved the first book at all and I'm totally looking forward to the second book. (hide spoiler)]

Also really dying to find out what Clara's vision is all about (and what's going on between Kay and Christian, exactly). Am I supposed to take it personally that the "enemy" shares my nickname? xD

I don't even have a team yet! I don't know either of them that well, except that Christian is the nice guy and Tucker is the bad boy. I'll probably pick a side by the end of the first book. (hide spoiler)]

* Jackson Hole High - I envy their curriculum!
* Clara - she could be funny but I don't really get her jokes sometimes. I like her sarcasm though. And I like the fact that despite having angel-blood, she has flaws and that makes her a good MC.
* Their mom - I really really like her. She's so friggin' cool.
* Christian - ok, I guess, but I find myself liking Tucker more.
* Angela - I had an inkling that she had angel-blood too. Right from the moment in Mr. Phibbs's class when she was about to raise her hand on the bird thing.
* Angela's story - that was disturbing - an angel raping a human? Then it was mentioned that her father's a Black Wing and I remembered how some had fallen a long, long time ago.
* I'm getting a faint idea that is about the ancient battle between good/evil. And that Clara has a really significant role in all this.

*Christian - it's obvious he's not over Kay but I don't understand why Clara's really mad at him for prom, they just broke up and he just felt sympathetic.

Current thoughts:
(view spoiler)[Omg, reading about Clara's mother dying was so sad. I just started bawling at the second to last page when Clara screams "Mommy!" :'(

I like that the author didn't write the love triangle as so predictable, you know? Like I'm genuinely questioning whether Clara will end up with Tucker. I'm glad she showed the courage to step away and try to give him a chance at a normal life; I thought that showed some bravery and selflessness. I mean, Christian is a very sweet guy and all, and I think the concept of Clara and Christian sharing a "destiny" is fascinating. I just REALLY want her to end up with Tucker... (hide spoiler)]
