~Leslie~ wrote: "I am obviously confused and I've never played before. So forgive the silly question. Do we read multiple books this week in order to claim all the items, or do we read one book and claim as many ..."
You can claim items from books that you are reading from 12pm est on Monday to when the next item is called.
so if you start a book on Sunday and you have read to page 100 by noon on Monday you can claim items found in the book after page 100.
hope that helps.
Would this work for Oak tree? "Like watching a tiny acorn grow into some giant gnarled oak. You can't predict how tall and twisted it's going to end up."

Yes, that will work.
Awesome! The items I thought would have been harder to find, I found right away, the items that sounded easy, I still haven't come across it in my book.

Would shackles work for handcuffs? I'm also not sure if it counts because she's comparing her disability to shackles...
Sam wrote: "Would shackles work for handcuffs? I'm also not sure if it counts because she's comparing her disability to shackles..."They would have to be shackles that immobilize the hands and arms. So, if her disability has to do with either of those I'll take it.
Jen would this work for mailbox (the guy just died in his office) his head was found perched on his outbox?

Jenne wrote: "Jen would this work for mailbox (the guy just died in his office) his head was found perched on his outbox?"It is stretching just a bit but I'll take it :)
Wanda wrote: "Would having both arms and legs tied to a chair count for restraints or handcuffs?"Unfortunately no. It needs to be an item like handcuffs not just rope.
Do we have until Sunday night to finish finding words? I'm still searching for two. I might snag one of these books others have posted if my word doesn't show up soon.

Even better! I'm on the hunt for dandelion and cave. I'll be on a reading frenzy tonight and tomorrow.
Anyone got a good short fast read for the word cave? I so thought it would be in my last book but wasn't. It's the only word I have left to find so far.
Lots of interesting word choices this week :) Let the hunting begin!
a couple of questions :)
for flag does it have to be the object or can it be a feeling like say: seeing the skulls sent up a red flag
and would this be ok for lawyer: the way he held himself seemed all most lawyer-ish.

Do we read multiple books this week in order to claim all the items, or do we read one book and claim as many ..."
You can read as many or as few as you want. For example, if you find all 10 items in one book then you read only one, if you find 3 items in one book, another 5 in a second book and then 2 in a third, then you read 3 books. I found 5 items in one and another 5 in a different book so I will read 2.
