Great comedienne and a rather prolific author!
If you can attribute the quote to one of her books, even better. PM me the details. Include your full name and the link that you would like posted to your author's page or website for the submission credit. Or, you can send it to: contactfyf@gmail.com.
Thanks for a great line and a good laugh, Ken!

Perhaps, you can.
The subjectivity of humor is sometimes difficult to accept, but it's very real, and it's hard to argue that such writers as Vonnegut, Eleanor Roosevelt, Oscar Wilde and Dorothy Parker are not wonderful authors; or that humorists such as Dave Barry, Lewis Grizzard and Woody Allen are not funny.
One of my posts specifically addresses the topic of subjectivity. You can look at it here. Perhaps, it might give you a few insights into the tremendously broad range in the world of humor.
I'm sure that you have a sense of humor, Lenita. We all do. And if you can't LIKE specific bits of humor, that's okay, but perhaps you can LIKE the tremendous work and talent that these wonderful authors put into their books in order to entertain their readers.
