I think Jori was raped and got pregnant and is a victim. I definitely think that part of Sarah is bad though, just the way she said she felt murderous towards the red haired woman.... or maybe that was just a side effect of the treatment.

I'm at 9 percent. It's an okay start, but I keep getting distracted from the book.

I'm at 14%. It's a very different start. I'm not too sure what to think of it.

I'm not loving it, but I'm liking it more than I did in the beginning.

I finished it! Okay, so I actually enjoyed the story. I was very intrigued, even with that rough beginning. It started out weird, but it just got more interesting to me. I thought the main character was strong, and I liked her a lot. Sometimes her voice felt emotionless, but it fit her character. The banter between her and the hacker was great. They were both sassy.

The main problem I had with this was how convenient everything was for the characters. Sure, they had obstacles (view spoiler)[and people died (hide spoiler)] but nothing truly made it hard for them. And the author kept the answers just so out of reach where I wanted to keep reading to know how all of it tied together, but it took a freaking long time to get there. Still not sure I even understand the full extent of the research they did or what Sarah went through.

(view spoiler)[The last few chapters before the ending were a bit of a disappointment. I hated how Hodges just dumped all of the info out like that. It felt way too.. convenient. And there's that word again. It also felt easy, because if you want to know if someone's truly dead, you should check their pulse, right? She got away once already. You'd think they wouldn't take the chance. (hide spoiler)]

Overall, I enjoyed it. I hope you did too!
